My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
If you take the time to enjoy the moments that make up this life, have passion and a positive attitude, are motivation to do well and can still find the humor in everything, then we will make each others already great lives even better.

I’m an adventurer at heart and I know we’d share many together! We’ll speed across Torch Lake in a high-speed boat with the warm summer air in our hair, then we’ll visit a beach and take our sandals off and feel the hot sand press between our toes before we take a refreshing dip in the bay. Another weekend, We’ll take a trip to Chicago and experience the pounding sounds of an authentic and gritty blues band!

I am a confident, optimistic, driven, perceptive, and not so easily rattled individual. Rarely at a loss for words, but I listen first. My most valuable asset is my sense of humor.

I'm very open-minded and willing to take risks when needed. I love dogs, meaningful conversations, and self reflection.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Taking in the moment.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Probably different things depending on the person.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books – I don’t read much fiction, but one of my favorites (which is fiction based on a true events) was” Devil in the White City.” I also liked the Bill Bryson Book “A Short History of Nearly Everything." I also like authors Eckhart Tolle, Dale Carnegie and Robert Kirkman

Movies – The Big Lebowski, Office Space, Requiem for a Dream, Boondock Saints, Anchorman, High-Fidelity, Avengers/Marvel or DC ... I'm a movie lover in general - mostly comedies, but I do like just about any genre.

TV - The Walking Dead, Sons of Anarchy, Parks & Rec, Law & Order SVU, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Louis, Archer, and a lot of random History Channel stuff. I'm not a big 'reality TV' fan.

Music – I like mostly rock/indie/alternative. My favortie band is The Foo Fighters, but some others include bands along the lines of Jimmy Eat World, Muse, Bastille, Florence and the Machine, The Killers, Mumford & Sons, Weezer, Old Show Medicine Crow, AWOLNATION, Lorde, Imagine Dragons, Kings of Leon, . . . I love rock music mostly – but I find all music enjoyable to some extent.

Food – I love pizza, but I prefer a good steak house, sushi bar, or brew pub when I go out to eat. Despite what I just listed, I actually eat pretty healthy on a day-to-day basis.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My family
My friends
Long walks or hikes
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Presence. Time is often said to be something that can be both given and taken away, but I find this notion insane. Time is a manifestation of mankind’s mind and is simply a tool to be referenced as needed (For example – setting a time to meet someone; setting a timer when cooking; referencing an event in history). There is only now. The past is a collection of memories we may use as lessons to make decisions now, but nothing more. The future is a far off point in which we may plan for now (set goals), but the future itself does not actually exist. Time is a measurement that is no more or less useful than any other form of measurement we use.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Dinner with friends, staying in, going to a dive bar, dressing up for a nice evening on the town, going to a concert, staying at home and watching a movie, heading off for a weekend out of town. I don't have a routine for my Friday nights.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I pause after reading my fortune from a fortune cookie and try to decide if it actually applies to some aspect of what's going on in my life at that moment.

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
- If you are messaging me, you already love who you are; you live life fully and are always striving to be the best version of you; you’re looking for someone supportive that will compliment your already good life.

- The rest is negotiable. (well, you can’t be a blood relative)

If you're right for me, we will crack each other up every day and settle into each other's arms every night.
