Lived in FL for 20 years and didn't want to be there anymore so I moved to New Haven because my brother was here.

I go with the flow, but can also be stubborn. Confused? Yeah, me too. I'm always down for meeting new friends and if something more happens, great. If not, also fine.

I have two tattoos (both of them star wars related)...probably more to come (probably not star wars related).

I enjoy pop culture, trivia, video games, comic books and several other nerd things. I also like hiking, and running. I actually go outside.

I will also go for a craft beer vs the others. Beer snob? Maybe. But I enjoy flavor in my beers.

I enjoy singing karaoke. I never said I was good at it...but I'd like to think I'm decent enough.

There's more to say...but then what would we talk about if we ever met?

Working and trying to move up through the company and my future looks bright. Might go back to school one day. I enjoy cooking and considered culinary school at one point, but it's not for me.

Ran my first 10k in 2012. I want to keep running, but I find it easier when I have an end goal. Even just being active like going hiking. (East Rock is quite close to me). I've signed up for Run For Your Lives (zombie obstacle course) and I want to do Tough Mudder or some sort of intense obstacle course race in 2013.

Pop culture trivia. However, not good enough to make it onto VH1s World Series of Pop Culture (the 2nd one). But still pretty awesome.

Being sarcastic...almost to a fault. I can take it as well as I can dish it out.

Making people laugh. I just hope I'm not one of those people that thinks I'm funnier than I really am. That would suck.

Smile, maybe? My beard...even though it's not crazy Iron and Wine beardiness. My aura of awesomeness? You pick.

Books: The Hobbit, Harry Potter series, Narnia series, Paul is Undead, The Hunger Games.

Currently in the middle of two books, which I don't usually do.

Latest book I finished: Ready, Player One. Full of pop culture references so of course I loved that.

Movies: Pulp Fiction, Star Wars, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind School of Rock, Closer, Garden State , Kill Bill, Indiana Jones, Back to the Future, 28 Days Later, Spiderman, Ghostbusters, James Bond movies, Kill Bill, Scott Pilgrim vs the World, Broken Lizard movies (Super Troopers, Beer Fest), most Kevin Smith movies, plenty more that I can't think of.

TV: Community, The Office, Big Bang Theory, Archer, Parks and Recreation, Modern Family, Dexter, Chuck, LOST, The Walking Dead, Mad Men, Adventure Time, Breaking Bad, Arrested Development, 30 Rock, Doctor Who, Firefly, Happy Endings and so on...

Music: The Beatles, Foo Fighters, Muse, Taking Back Sunday, Brand New, Dashboard Confessional, Smashing Pumpkins, Tenacious D, Frank Turner, Blink 182, Say Anything, Of Monsters and Men, Sex Bob-Ombmostly things in the Rock genre. I hate nu-metal and bad radio rock. Above all other bands I hate Nickelback the most.

Food: Chicken is by far my favorite meat...though in general I enjoy cooking just about anything. I love trying new foods, even though I used to be the world's pickiest eater. Although I eat meat I do love fake meat products.

I've been obsessed with avocado lately. I am okay with this obsession. It just makes anything you put it on instantly better.

Side note: The Legend of Zelda series will always be one of my favorites. Even if it's formulaic.

Usually at work. If not then at home relaxing. Friday is not when my work week ends. Typically it's my Monday actually. I am usually up for anything though.

I never learned how to ride a bike. I also used to have to my tongue pierced. Not really ashamed of either.

We share some things in common (music, movies, views on life), love pop culture, and are quick with the jokes. If you can geek out about stuff, whether it be video games, comic books, regular books, history, whatever. Being geeky just means you're passionate about something.
