I love to laugh, so a good sense of humor is a must. People that are close to me say that my laugh is thunderous. The only thing louder is my sneeze...seriously...it's loud. I've also been told that I am a 50/50 mix of a teddy bear and a rottweiler. I think that's about right.
I am a firm believer that the traditional "gentleman" is on the endangered species list. I'd like to think I am one of them, but I am surely not perfect. Training may be required every once in a while, but for the most part I am safe to leave on auto-pilot amongst family or friends.
Running, working out, and generally living a healthy lifestyle are important to me. Bonus points to someone who also enjoys the same, and who is not afraid to give me a challenge. I would LOVE to go on a nice long run with a woman. Fitness is not the only thing that I find important, however. A nice smile, sense of humor, or ability to sling a chef's knife with me in the kitchen are all qualities that I find attractive. DISCLAIMER: Note that I said "with" me in the kitchen, not "for" me in the kitchen. Jus' Sayin'!
The last 10 years for me have been a wild ride. The Navy opened me up to incredible possibilities. I have been all over the world, grown both professionally and personally, and still love my career. Luckily, Uncle Sam saw it fit to send me to Postgraduate School to get my MBA. Once I'm completed, I'll be able to keep my rear-end in one place for the next several years...maybe even longer. I'm extremely excited about Philly!
I do have two kids, but they do not live with me. Although I only see them once a month, I always keep them close in heart (they live in Virginia). Hopefully a lady out there can be understanding of my relationship with them!
That is all, I suppose! Please stop in to say hi.
