So let's see, what do you need to know about me? Well, let's get this out of the way first. I am awesome. Sorry, I know that can be a lot to digest just two sentences in, but I really am. I have a t-shirt that proves it.

I am Omaha born and raised, aside from a year I spent in Iowa that will forever be referenced to as "the dark year" and never discussed again. I am originally from South O but I have lived downtown over a decade now.

I am a huge sports fan. Not just the Huskers and Bluejays, although I love them. I'm also a huge fan of racing, like IndyCar, Nascar or Eagle Raceway. I am also a HUGE fan of the Omaha Rollergirls. There really is no better show in town.

I am working on a cure for cancer. I am also trying to create world peace. In my free time, I like to help the homeless, feed the hungry and develop third world countries. On weekends I work on my invention for a car with zero emissions that runs on smog. It actually turns the smog into horsepower and the only thing coming out the exhaust is love and popsicles. In the winter it dispenses hot chocolate instead. I also am the director of a choir consisting of special needs children and World War 2 Veterans, both of whom need love and attention. That or I work for an insurance company. I always forget.

What do you want me to be really good at? I am that guy, the one that can overachieve at almost anything. Just don't expect it in too much of a hurry unless it interests me. Because I tend to get bored easily. I probably have ADD or something, but anyways, like I was saying, the movie was good and I think you should see it. What were we talking about again?

That I grew a second head, but all it does is hang out and drool on my shoulder.

After that they usually notice that I am a pirate. No, not the kind that steals music, the kind that has a boat and a parrot and a peg leg and treasure. Lots and lots of treasure. This one time we took our pirate ship to space and fought the moon ninjas. It was awesome until the space zombies showed up. They tried to steal our treasure. Afterwards, meaning when we won, we all got together and drank bourbon and watched Cops on Court TV. It was really cool.

Also, if you believe any of this, I have a bridge I would like to sell you, it is shiney and new.

Books: I like sci-fi and fantasy, but nothing too deep that I can't put it down in a hurry. I read a LOT of Star Wars books. I also like non-fiction on biographies.

Movies: I'm open to most kind of movies, but am not a big fan of romantic comedies. I know, big shock, right? A guy that opens his profile telling you he is awesome that isn't a big fan of romantic comedies. We should alert the media.

Music: Music... Do I have to pick a favorite? I like all kinds of music. Anything from AC/DC to Reel Big Fish to Snoop to Mozart to... anything basically. Lately I have been listening to more country when it comes to newer stuff.

Food: I love BBQ. Ribs, brisket, pork... it's all good. I also love Mexican, American and Italian. I don't like Asian food at all though. For the most part I am pretty open to trying new things, but I prefer simple food over fancy food. I'm more comfortable at a mom and pop than I am at a fancy schmancy place.

Is this the real life or is this just fantasy? Caught in a land... wait... strike that answer. You may say that I am a dreamer, but I'm not the only... wait... strike that one too...

Reality? I tend to drift my thoughts a lot. I tend to jump topics a bit, and unless I have found something I will get quite random. Once I find something I want though I will zero in on it. Like I recently took a trip to the beach and for like two weeks beforehand it was all I could think about.

The same thing I try to do every Friday night Pinky, trying to take over the world. Wait, no, that isn't right. I gave up on taking over the world when I realized that would mean I'd have to control the world and that would take away from my me time.

On a good Friday night I am at the Ralston Arena cheering on the ORG All Stars! That or hitting a midnight movie at the Dundee Theater or grabbing some enchiladas at Jonesy's Taco House or watching the sprint cars at Eagle Raceway.

Sometimes at night, when I can't sleep, I lay awake and think about sleeping. It doesn't work.

You probably shouldn't. I'm that guy your mother warned you about. Wait, that isn't it. You know, she said someday you would meet some guy that would be kinda crazy in a fun way and always has the people laughing. Yea, that's the ticket. Message me because your mother told you not to. It'd be fun! Then we could like, go over there and I could meet her and prove her wrong about me.
