My self-summary
I'm an angry man, but I do my best to point that anger in the right directions.
I'm impatient, but this means I get things done.

I'm bad at "fun", good at "funny"; had a wanderlust, but it's settling; I'm pushing myself into uncomfortable territory, so I can learn to live comfortably, and I'm completely content doing it alone.

But I'd rather not.
What I’m doing with my life
Working hard. If a man's going to succeed, he better be prepared to burn the midnight oil, and the candle at both ends.
I’m really good at
Chess, rhetoric, critical thinking, sales, making decisions, and airport navigation.
The first things people usually notice about me
I'm not small, on any axis, and I demand attention.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
There's no short answer to this. How about "not Coldplay"? Does that answer enough?

Just about anything with an ethical or philosophical point to be made.

Anything starring an anti-hero; almost nothing else. Except New Girl and Brooklyn Nine-Nine. I AM Captain Holt.

Man movies. Most of Tarantino's, all of Ritchie's, anything loaded with testosterone. Also, non-holiday Rankin/Bass cartoon movies. Keepin' my childhood alive.

StarTalk w/ Neil DeGrasse Tyson, Penn's Sunday School, Dan Carlin's MOST excellent Hardcore History, and Common Sense, Waking Up with Sam Harris, and the Partially Examined Life.
The six things I could never do without
...and other people, I suppose.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
My next soapbox rant or story. What I can learn, and from whom. Whether or not there's something psychologically wrong with me. You know; normal stuff.
On a typical Friday night I am
Working. Maybe boozin afterwards.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I play my cards pretty close to my chest. Three can keep a secret, if two of them are dead.

You should message me if
You're up for it. I may reply; I may not. Knowing that, and still having the stones to find out is a good start. Be confident; you'll go far.
