My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
That quiet dude over in there reading who smells faintly of chocolate. One of my clients last week started getting me talking about books and travel and said, "I finally know what you get excited about."
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm a hairstylist who loves my job. How could I not? Women come in, we sit and talk and when they leave, they feel better than when they got there. And they pay me for this. That's cool.

I'm also a truffle maker, they're really great truffles ... and they sometimes take over my life, and the company is growing, which is nice.

Getting to do some acting, and that is tremendous fun! Been diligent at the gym and may actually be getting the diet under control.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
reading, writing and getting lost in good songs. ((When I wrote this profile)), "It's Time" by Imagine Dragons (and "Radioactive") ... and that "Somebody That I Used to Know" (the original is great, but so is the Walk Off the Earth version) ... in spite of the fact that it should achieve "Overplayed" status probably Tuesday.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I am painfully shy. How the hell would you notice me? Other than being 6'2" and red hair ... so I kinda stick out. Once you get through that shell ... I love good conversations. Until you do, however, I'm the dude ... in the corner, watching the clock, wondering when I can leave without offending the host.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: Lamb, The Gospel According to Biff, Christ's Childhood Pal - Christopher Moore, Stand - Stephen King, Televisionary Oracle - Rob Breszny, Fight Club &/or Survivor - Chuck Palahniuk

Movies: Moulin Rouge, Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, Matrix, American Beauty, Fight Club ... stunning visuals and great fights and/or great love stories ...

Shows: Not super huge about TV but like Lost ... and Glee, don't judge, I was in show choir ... and a cappella groups.

Music: Dance, dance, dance. Happy bouncy vocal trance ... and a cappella ... and really clever remixes (like the Carol of the Bells/God Rest Ye for 12 cellos ... pretty awesome)

Food: I love most Asian cuisine and meat and sushi and raw veggies.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My dear friends.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Sobriety? Music. How come the mountains in Colorado are so beautiful and why the sun never seems as beautiful anywhere else. Where I get to travel to next.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Being quiet, I work on Saturday. I'll go to a meeting or something, sometimes, but usually, I'm reading or playing on the computer or some geeky thing like that.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm sober and have been for a while now. I don't like to go to bars although I'd love to go dancing again ... and I'm totally in love with cards ... you name the game, and if I don't know it, I will learn it ... don't understand it ... just the way it goes. Cribbage, though, is maybe the best game in the world.
