Your Notes
Edit your notesI am artstic, sensual, and passionate aboutlife.
My Self-Summary
The fact that I am an educator and cannot spell is very ironic to me.
What I’m doing with my life
I am also trying to travel more often. Reading as much as possable and always learning more about myself and the world. It would be wonderful to have someone to grow with, travel with and fall in love with.
I’m really good at
The first things people usually notice about me
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
Harold and Maude, Being there, Brazil, anything Python.
Good old hippie music rules always, bluegrass, rare and unknown music, Music that makes you feel and think. Talking Heads, Grateful Dead, Mother hips, Dieselhed, Dred Zeppelin, Del McCurry, Cherry Poppen Daddies, are some of the more popular music I enjoy.
Korean food, any sea food, mexican food (the real stuff, not the americanized stuff!),and Sushi....but not always all mixed together (grin).
Talking Heads, Grateful Dead, Mother hips, Dieselhed, Dred Zeppelin
The six things I could never do without
Love
Family
senuallity

Good food

I spend a lot of time thinking about
How it would feel to be in love again and planning for future travels.
What I have to teach my children so they will be kind and succesful in this world.
How ironic and funny it is that I have a masters in education and I cannot spell to save my soul.
How fast and an unladen Swallow can fly.

The paradox of our time in history is that we have taller buildings butshorter tempers, wider freeways, but narrower viewpoints. We spend more, but have less, we buy more, but enjoy less. We have bigger houses andsmallerfamilies, more conveniences, but less time. We have more degrees but lesssense, more knowledge, but less judgment, more experts, yet more problems, more medicine, but less wiliness. We drink too much, smoke too much, spend too recklessly, laugh too little, drive too fast, get too angry, stay up too late, getup too tired, read too little, watch TV too much, and pray too seldom. We have multiplied our possessions, but reduced our values. We talk too much, love too seldom, and hate too often. We've learned how to make a living, but not a life. We've added years to life not life to years. We've been all the way to the moon and back, but have trouble crossing thestreet to meet anew neighbor. We conquered outer space but not inner space.
HOW TO STAY YOUNG1. Throw out nonessential numbers. This includes age, weight andheight. Let the doctor worry about them. That is why you pay him/her.2. Keep only cheerful friends. The grouches pull you down.3. Keep learning. Learn more about the computer, crafts, gardening, whatever. Never let the brain idle. "An idle mind is the devil'sworkshop." And the devil's name is Alzheimer's.4. Enjoy the simple things.5. Laugh often, long and loud. Laugh until you gasp for breath.6. The tears happen. Endure, grieve, and move on. The only person who iswith us our entire life, is ourselves. Be ALIVE while you are alive.7. Surround yourself with what you love, whether it's family, pets, keepsakes, music, plants, and hobbies, whatever. Your home is yourrefuge.8. Cherish your health: If it is good, preserve it. If it is unstable, improve it. If it is beyond what you can improve, get help.9. Don't take guilt trips. Take a trip to the mall, to the next county, to aforeign country, but NOT to where the guilt is.10. Tell the people you love that you love them, at every opportunity.ANDALWAYS REMEMBER: Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, butby the moments that take our breath away.
On a typical Friday night I am
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
You should message me if
You want to know that someone who is a good listener.
Share crazy ideas and have good laugh.
