I'm incredibly laid back and honest which sometimes gets me in trouble. I spend a lot of time biking on my fixie in the warmer months, running, and going to shows. I love a challenge and am constantly trying to improve and test myself mentally and physically. Overall, just trying to make a positive impact.

I graduated from Columbia College and loved it there. I'm currently a recovery counselor working with folks with mental illness. I'm passionate about working with disenfranchised populations. I'm about to embark on many more years of education to pursue my passion working with animals. Overall, I just want to do what I love and surround myself with great people.

- I love eating out...a lot. Indian is my favorite, but I'm up for anything as long as there are some veggie options. Pretty much anything 'ethnic' i'm down. Greek, Mexican, Thai, Ethiopian..all amazing.

Books:
-Augusten Burroughs is a long time favorite-Wolf at the Table.
I also really enjoy the Stephen Clark series with a Year in the Merde. Jeanette Winterson of course, and David Sedaris.

Movies-Moonrise Kingdom-new favorite movie, Amelie, Inception, Bourne Films..I took a music documentary class not too long ago so that genre is great as well...I have a huge crush on Ellen Page so anything with her wins points!

Music-besides traveling, music is my favorite thing ever. I like a lot of electro-Simian Mobile Disco, Diplo, LCD Soundsystem, Junior Boys, Crystal Castles...I also love anything from the '80s (Depeche Mode, the Smiths), Bon Iver, Mirah, Ladytron, Yeah Yeah Yeahs..I could go on for ever with this. Pitchfork is my hands down fav. Chicago event.
