I am honest, active, and I got soul.

My Self-Summary

I live by the adage, "be the change you want to see in the world", and every day I get a little better at it. I moved to Phoenix from upstate New York a few years ago. I live as simply as possible in regards to both material possessions and everyday activities. I don't watch TV, and I seldom drink. I'm looking for someone with similar qualities.

What I’m doing with my life

I have been a bicycle mechanic for years, and i still love to work on them. I do alot of reading, in addition to working at the public library . I get my news from NPR, and I have a small but eclectic collection of music. My friends are my second family, and I try to see as much of them as possible, because nothing lasts forever. I have also taken to writing short stories about my colorful childhood, and I'm waiting for acceptance to be published. I ride a fixed gear bicycle for enjoyment and exercise. I also play bicycle polo twice a week.

I’m really good at

working on bicycles, dancing, bicycle polo, listening, hugging, cooking, kissing

The first things people usually notice about me

-my deep "radio voice".
-my disarming personailty & laid-back attitude.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

books: orwell, kerouac, updike, cormac mccarthy, hemingway, hermann hesse, mostly classics.

movies: also classics, love sidney poitier and cary grant.

music: extremely broad variety; no one genre is my favorite.

food: yes, please. i have a huge appetite, and i'm not very picky.

The six things I could never do without

music
transportation with wheels
food
my friends
talk radio
coffee

I spend a lot of time thinking about

impossible business ventures
what my friends are up to that night
traveling anywhere, just for the heck of it.

On a typical Friday night I am

hanging out with my amazing friends.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

i was the most un-popular kid in high school; the total outcast.

You should message me if

everything I wrote sounds right up your alley. Besides, how many bicycle polo players do you know?
