I am awesomely, tall, and I heart burritos..
My Self-Summary
Hi there, I enjoy funny conversations, a nice laugh, great food,
live music (see
below for more details), good communicators,
bike rides, the
Blazers, gardening, eating fresh
veggies, hiking,
camping, exploring the world, watching
movies, trying new things (restaurants, hikes, adventures, cities,
activities, etc.), obsessively checking my
Gmail, and much more.
What I’m doing with my life
I have a job that I love, a garden that's in progress, a nice
apartment in a good location. I'll tell you more if we talk.
I’m really good at
making waffles, drawing, eating, making others laugh.
The first things people usually notice about me
That I'm tall and I have a nice bike.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
Movies: Let the Right One In, The Devil's Backbone, Moon, Vertigo,
Pee Wee's Big Adventure, Secretary, etc.
Food: Indian (
Palak Paneer), huaraches (the best
thing I've ever eaten from a PDX food cart), burritos, crepes,
sushi, guacamole, mashed potatoes. I also really love eating brunch
on a Saturday or Sunday, but not every weekend.
Music:
Spoon, Kinks,
Pavement, Jurassic 5, Neko Case, Arcade Fire, David Byrne, Quasi,
Destroyer, Scout Niblett, and many more.
TV: Mad Men, Dexter, Weeds, and other series that I rent on Netflix
(I don't have cable tv).
Books: Me Talk Pretty One Day, anything by
Douglas Coupland, just getting
into Tom Robbins.
The six things I could never do without
Gmail, Google Reader, music, nature and I suppose I have to say
family and friends, pshhhh.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Future vacations, how we waste natural resources, the weekend,
renewable energy, my Netflix queue.
On a typical Friday night I am
hanging out with friends, at a show, watching a movie, at the
beach, playing Big Buck Hunter, or any other numerous things.
Sometime I also like to chill at home on Friday nights if it's been
a long week.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
I saw Ron Jeremy at the airport.
You should message me if
You live in Portland (not Beavertron or Vantucky) and find
something on my profile interesting.
