I have one son, a recent college graduate, who I see often. I spend substantial time trying to move him from the computer into the world.
Humor is a big thing for me. A humorous attitude is a great companion in this life - no?
Movies:comedies like.... Some like it Hot, Flirting with Disaster and the Big Lebowski. Other genres: Wings of Desire, The Godfather, Silver Lining Playbook, Metropolis, I'm not there, My Dinner with Andre....
Also, spirituality plays a big part in my life- although I'm more interested in the 'spiritual, but not religious' aspect - any philosophy or teaching that helps us stay in this present moment. (Eckhart Tolle, Gurdjieff, )
I do a good WC fields impersonation, though no one knows who that is anymore. And a not bad early Brando.
I play guitar and also Blues Harp in the style of Little Walter.
And literature. The Beats. Willy the Shake reigns supreme. Amazing adventures of Kavalier and Clay. Biographies. Books about quantum physics.
I like almost all music, but I love Dylan, Leonard Cohen, Tom Waits, The Decemberists, Louis Prima, Fleet Foxes, Ray Charles, Nina Simone, Johnny Cash, Etta James, Van the Man, ..far too many to list here. And the artists, i guess it's the classics - Vermeer, Rembrandt, Hopper, Wyeth....
I could go on and on, at the risk of unveiling my true narcissism... If any of this resonates, please drop me a line. I'd like that.

In relationships, I am very independent and appreciate and seek that in others. I also find honesty very important, so, if, for instance, your age is not really your age, it's not a good way to start a relationship.
