My Self-Summary

He there. I live in Southaven, MS.
I work for a computer company, one from Japan, soo wouldnt expect you to know its name. I work as a field engineer, which lets me get to out to see some parts of the US of A from time to time. I enjoy my job, but I guess thats a convo. for the next questionare.

I moved here from Biloxi, MS several years back. Its a big change up here. Didnt think I'd have to resort to OKC, but its hard as hell to meet people up here, so guess its somewhat needed even if it makes me feel OKstupid. But its all good I suppose, not like its so bad that friday night is a bore, I still get out with friends and you'd likely run into me on beale.

What I’m doing with my life

Well, working for a computer company as a field engineer. Its earning me the experience I'll need for later down the road. I am studying on the side for some key exams I'll also need to take before too long. I know that with the job I am at, if I am not careful could end up into a permanent job, but hey, like my job, but where is the fun in staying put this early in the game ? I am somewhat ambitious and sometimes bite off more than I can chew, so to speak. I dont think Ill ever forsee myself getting too comfortable in one company or aspect of the industry just yet, makes me all the more valuable I've learned. So, as I study what I have to on the side, I'll progress to possibly a more office like enviroment in the IT field before too long. Network Admin is what I am shooting for, to be specific.

Life is full of goals as we all know, some things non career related I have set as a goal include to obtain a pilots license and scuba certification and have enough money to blow on a full set of scuba gear.. hey did you think I was bs'ing when I said I was adventerous ?

I’m really good at

I'm something of a jack of all trades, being good at many things. As I said, I work with computers, so with the trade comes that skill... It makes me money, and on the other hand it brings a lot of computer questions from my friends/family, which isn't soo bad I suppose.

I have several things I do in my spare time. I actually enjoy to cook here and there, mainly like to throw it on my grill as the first option tho... I play a little guitar on the side, but havent played much here recently. I enjoy working on my truck, I keep a full set of tools and I'm prepared for whatever american engineering throws at me. I have some guitar hero skills too lol... Singing too, I sound fantastic....in the shower. Hmm, guess you can see I am better at sarcasim...

The first things people usually notice about me

You'd likely find me to be funny. I like to laugh when at all possible, I hate drama, and thats usually a quick way to advoid being in any, hah! I can say dorky humor lines every now and again, like bust out with a punch line reference quote from a movie sometimes, guess it aint all bad unless its an obscure quote.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Books: Currently reading Dr. Denis Leary's 'Why We Suck' and agreeing with every page of it......

Food: Italian (any), pizza, burgers, steaks, sushi, nigiri, those go great with sake' ! I love seafood..saltwater courses through my veins having spent most of my life living on the beach...

Music: Lucero (Memphis Band), The Dempseys (Memphis Band), Johnny Cash, Metallica, CCR, Jimmy Buffet, Shinedown, Elvis Presley, Waylon Jennings..... Hell, I even listen to Fats Domino, Chuck Berry, Billy Joel. I like Pink Floyd, Led Zepplin, and even some of donovan to name a few more. I have somewhat of an open mind towards music, its got to be pretty terrible or lacking of any talent for me to hate it....

Movies: 'Dirty Harry' Movies, Back to the Future Trilogy, Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, Sin City, The Big Lebowski, Batman Begins, The Punisher, Payback, Go, Gone in 60 Seconds. There are some random movies I could name like Equilibrium, Donnie Darko, Spaceballs, Identity, and so forth... yes my nickname was 'lord of film' at one point in time, can see why....

TV: not really asking, but everyone else is posting it, hahah.
I like 'It's Always Sunny in Philidelphia' I love the Simpsons (more like seasons 5-17, lol) I watch a little bit of Family Guy. I watch info stuff like mythbusters, how it's made, stacey david, and overhauling, which is by far better than 'pimp my ride' ! I've recently been sucked into Heroes, never seen a single episode of Lost or Survivor..... But I do watch survivor man.... Not much for TV, lol, I could get by with just Discovery, Speed Channel, Spike TV, and F/X......

The six things I could never do without

Hmm....

1.) Music
2.) My truck and the manual transmission in it..
3.) Interwebs
4.) My family and friends
5.) De-motivational posters
6.) A nice long day every now and again to go spend canoeing, driving, or something where cellphone service is not important....

I spend a lot of time thinking about

I think all the time. Last thing I want to do is make this whole article 'my job this..' or 'my job that...' But hey, every day is a new challenge in the computer field, hell with windows releasing shoddy updates or some trendy new virus propogating on the internet.... So, thoughts during the day can revolve around facing every day work related challenges or sometimes I catch myself thinking about things to do to get me where I want to go in life. My thoughts on the subject remain eager-eyed and optimistic.!.

I also keep a little task list in my head of things i wanna look up when I have a free minute. Yes, I admit it, you heard it first right here on my page. I can be a geek like that sometimes, but I go on a knowledge-bender sometimes and just want to learn something new.

On a typical Friday night I am

If it isnt work, Im out usually. I go to beale at least once a week, I hit up a bar or two as well. I love a good rock show. I enjoy movies and being with my friends. If its a friday, Id likely be doing one of the above.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

...That you will probably make me sick to my stomach if you IM me and just go on and on about how much we are a match and why we should be together....

(directing that at trolls)

You should message me if

I am in a relationship. Message me all you want if it will make you happy. Dont hold your breath on me writing back, I wont. Sorry :(
