Not your "typical" American girl i suppose-born and raised in Khartoum, Sudan, as an MK(yeh, that would be a missionary kid), lived there for 16 years of my life and have been in the States for 22 years now- love God, life, and laughter-i think i have a good sense of humor (some of my friends may say "funny"!) Just an f.y.i- its been brought to my attention that the word "kooky" can be applied to me as well..i'm not sure why, but i suppose one would have to come to their own conclusions on that after meeting me!
i know at least 2 languages- Arabic and well, obviously English..i know what you may be thinking-how does someone who lived in Sudan, Africa know such good English?? If you are at all curious, I'd be more than happy to let you in on the secret..ha! Here's a fun fact about this kooky girl from Sudan-I had a pet monkey and have ridden at least 2 camels in my life so far! Betcha don't hear that everyday :)

On the other hand-I am a movie-holic! Just to name a few..all 3 Batman movies, Avengers, Good Will Hunting, all the Bourne movies, SlumDog Millionaire, the Kite Runner, The Lemon Tree, Amreeka, The Syrian Bride, Not Without My Daughter..
As for shows-huge fan of Dexter, Breaking Bad, Downtown Abbey, The Paradise, Larkrise to Candleford, Lie to Me..
I like almost all kinds of music..
You might have guessed that I may like some of the more international varieties..indeed I do! Egyptian, French, Moroccan, along with a little Mumford&Sons, Lumineers& Owl City as well.. ironically I happen to enjoy some of the same food as listed above-not including the last 3 for obvious reasons-as well at Thai, Italian&Indian..I am always looking for new places to try out & Chicago is the perfect place for that..
