My self-summary
I'm a bespectacled, bipedal, bald humanoid who constantly daydreams about unicorns, synthesizers, black holes, robots and whether or not my fondness for chips and salsa qualify as an addiction.

I rather spend an entire day at a museum than a few minutes at a party engaging in irritating small talk, drinking crappy alcoholic beverages and enduring insufferable music. Unless of course it’s a Star Wars, Star Trek or Stargate themed party! In which case, fuck the museum, where the hell is my light saber!

I fucking absolutely love live music. If I wasn’t a financially sensible grad student I’d forget avout my strict budget and use part of my student loans to attend shows every single week.

When it comes to verbal expression and the art of conversation, I tend to alternate between periods of insightful articulation and nonsensical, incomprehensible, frantic babble. The latter usually being the norm. I also curse a lot. In fact, on certain occasions, I’ve been known to construct entire sentences comprised of nothing but curse words. Cursing is beneficial to my health, seriously, it helps to relieve stress and it's way more fun than meditation or yoga.

Floral scented anything makes me swoon. Especially the smell of lavender.

I love french fries with my pixa (that's exactly how I pronounce it too). I love cookie soup--especially in the winter.

A super cute pair of sneakers is way sexier than high heels as far as I'm concerned.

I love Adobe software and all things Apple. Sigh. Yes I know, that sounded like such a total designer cliche. I'm sorry okay. I'm excited about CSS3 and Adobe Muse. I'm currently learning After Effects and I'm eager to learn Maya as well. I also want to learn more about music, art, psychology, philosophy, history and cosmology.

I love my overly affectionate yet incorrigible orange tabby kitty.

I love pixels, vectors, pigments and substrates. I have a BFA in graphic design which has yet to yield any results. I'm currently a full time online graduate student studying web design & new media. I would consider myself a struggling graphic designer, an aspiring web designer and a closet “artist”.

I despise homophobia, sexism, religious fanaticism, a lack of respect for animals, extreme political ideology of any kind and irrational, erratic, inconsiderate, and mean spirited behavior.

Vegetarians, atheists, introverts, neurotics, geeks, nerds and just plain awkward and quirky individuals get plenty of extra points from me. These truly are my people gosh darn it!
What I’m doing with my life
Temporary design whore, grad school zombie and as always, trying my best to continue honing my dorkable ways.
I’m really good at
Graphic design, web design, creative stuff. If you don't believe me check out my online portfolio: www.birdonbicycle.com. Let's hear it for shameless self promotion. Yay!

Also, not acting or looking my age, apparently.
The first things people usually notice about me
I want to say my smile but it's probably my bald head. I think I have a decent smile but seriously, who can ignore the glare of a well polished chrome dome? No one. Not that I blame the, I mean as far as bald heads go, I'd like to think mine is pretty nice. At the risk of sounding vain, I'm confident it can give Patrick Stewart a run for his money. Maybe.
