I'm not your average girl. I like video and computer games especially WoW, Warhammer, Professor Layton, lots of rpgs, and old Lucas Arts games like Indiana Jones. I love anything science fiction especially Farscape and Battlestar Galactica. I love my DS and reading. I'm a huge fan of True Blood, Dexter, Buffy and Firefly. I'm currently watching Stargate Universe and Sanctuary. I like Kevin Smith and Joss Whedon stuff. I used to be into anime and DDR but my interest has faded - mostly because so many really young people are into it. I always seem to be busy when Dragon*Con comes around but I REALLY want to go next year. I've cosplayed at AWA a few times (once as Winry from Full Metal Alchemist and once as Shanks from One Piece) but I haven't been in the past couple years.
I love animals and I take my dog Bella to the dog park every day after work and usually on weekend afternoons. You can find me at Borders quite often too. I got my Bachelors and Masters at UGA. I just moved to Augusta in August to intern at a hospital. My program finishes in June at which point I will hopefully find a job. I love baking and cooking. I'm attempting to write a sci-fi book (if I ever finish it). I wanted to be a fighter pilot when I was little. My hair is sometimes blonde, sometimes red and sometimes strawberry blonde. I'm getting back into running and want to start hiking. I'm not a huge fan of sports, but I love going to see live ice hockey games. My three younger siblings and I are all Georgia bulldawgs! I love traveling and exploring new places. I really want to visit Alaska, Sweden, Japan, Australia, New Zealand and the Amazon rainforest one day. I love the rain. I don't understand why the rain stops people from doing regular things. I like going for walks or to the park in the rain. I like peppermint hot chocolate from Starbucks when it's cold outside. I listen to my music a decibel below deafening.
My parents live in Marietta, GA and I visit them about once a month. I speak German fluently. ^_^
I don't smoke. I don't do drugs. I'm not into heavy drinking/clubbing/partying. I drink occasionally with friends. I'm not into casual sex so don't bother trying. I don't do drama or whining. I'm looking to make some new friends. If it evolves into more, great! If not, hey, everyone can use another friend.

I got my BS in Biology in May 2007 and an MS in Foods and Nutrition in May 2009. I started an internship in Augusta, GA to become a registered dietitian in August 2009.
My life plans are pretty much open-ended. I'd like to make some new friends since most of mine are really far away. One day I'd like to finish my book. I'd also like to own a house with a fenced in backyard at some point. I have a list of things I want to do before I die; some of the things are little like learning how to do a cartwheel. Other things on the list are more challenging like seeing penguins in Antarctica or riding a dog sled in Alaska.

baking, cleaning, analyzing problems (not by choice.. science background *shrug*), being practical, making stupid comments, making the occasional witty comment, being positive, being honest - sometimes brutally so. I bet you can't make a chocolate cake more delicious than mine. ;)

Probably my hair.. it changes color often. My eyes are very blue. I'm usually smiling. You also might notice my very playful puppy being a spaz.

Books: I like most sci-fi or fantasy related books; most recently I've been reading the Anita Blake books by Laurell K Hamilton and the Sookie Stackhouse books by Charlaine Harris. I'm also a huge fan of the Ender Saga by Orson Scott Card, the Dragonlance books and the Artemis Fowl books by Eoin Colfer. The Color of Distance by Amy Thomson is probably my favorite book.

Movies: Anastasia, Howl's Moving Castle, Stardust, Boondock Saints, Equilibrium, The Fifth Element, Moon Child, Love Actually

Music: I like most music - not really into hardcore rap, old country or jazz music though. Some bands I can think of off the top of my head: Basshunter, Cascada, Eve 6, t.A.T.u, Boys Like Girls, We The Kings, Nightwish, E Nomine and 3Oh!3. I like most of the top 40 songs.. anything with a beat really.

Food: I like sushi, Japanese curry rice, Korean food, fruit especially mangoes, ice cream especially Coldstone, smoothies, peppermint hot chocolate and Lindt white chocolate truffles. I LOVE baking and trying new recipes.

I take my dog to the dog park after work every day. On Fridays I might be browsing stores like Borders, Game Stop, Movie Stop, Best Buy, Pet Smart, or Target. I might be at home watching downloaded or streaming TV shows like Sanctuary, Dexter, TrueBlood, Stargate Universe, Farscape, Lexx, Vampire Diaries, Battlestar Galactica, House, Scrubs, Grey's Anatomy, Eastwick, etc. I also might be reading a science fiction or fantasy book or playing the latest Nintendo DS game I downloaded onto my R4. Sometimes I'll play WoW or Warhammer. I'm thinking about starting to play Aion or Borderlands. I don't have many friends in Augusta since I just moved here, but I like going to movies, going to IHOP at the wee hours of the morning and talking about nothing, going to ice hockey games, watching TV shows/movies while piled on a couch full of friends, playing video games, playing board or card games (like Fluxx). I'm not a huge fan of partying/drinking like crazy. If it's drinks with some friends, that's cool.
