I've been making art for as long as I can remember. I moved to San Francisco from the South to obtain my MFA nearly twelve years ago and have been here ever since. San Francisco is definitely home now, I can't imagine living anywhere else at this point. Jesus, self summaries are incredibly lame...from my photo you can deduce I spend some time affixing plastic stuff to wire, I draw and paint also , lately on the floor like my best friend's 4 year old although he's much better than I am. I find these things to be quite fulfilling , they often take on an art like quality, this pleases me.

My lifestyle is healthy for the most part, making exceptions for the occasional bouts of hedonism. I strive to be the courteous gentleman I was raised y to be but I still love raunchy jokes and humor that may offend the overly sensitive.

Making art, doing yoga, going to Giants games, traveling as much as possible, being amazed and repulsed by this city(often at the same time), having a Bourbon on the rocks at my neighborhood bar. Seeing live music, going up to Hog Island for oysters, going to The Punchline on Sunday, hiking in the redwoods, avoiding evil trolls ,wrangling Unicorns. Using the word "circumlocution" as much as possible, such a great word.

Making people laugh, making sculpture out of garbage, Bikram Yoga, not sweating small stuff, sleeping until noon on Sunday. Talking shit ,gratuitous compliments, dropping everything to go enjoy life, herding cats with monkey cowboys.

Lots of NPR and KPOO. Mexican, Thai, Veitnamese, Indian, Burmese, Southern cooking
