I was born and raised in Brooklyn, I'm a townie which is awesome and terrible at the same time. I own a car and not a bike, mostly because I'm really scared of biking with cars.
I've known most of my friends for decades. I grew up in a close knit community and I am ever thankful, though this does make dating a bit difficult hence why I'm here!
My earliest memories are baking with my mom. She was big on teaching us how to cook and from the time I was 8, I was responsible to cook dinner once a week for the family. Cooking is one of the few things that silences my brain. And I tell you I throw a hell of a dinner party.
The early indoctrination in the kitchen led me to a career hospitality/food service since at the ripe age of 21. In 2013 I took the leap to the non profit food industry.
