I am happy, sweet, and totally rad.

My Self-Summary

I am a pretty cool girl living in Park Slope Brooklyn. Originally from the midwest (Nebraska) I have lived in New York for about 3 1/2 years and I can't see myself living anywhere else! Hmmm... what else to say about me? I enjoy going on random walks around the city, discovering new and fun places. I am a big fan of sweets and enjoy baking cookies, cupcakes, and other yummy treats. I also love board games and my friends and I have epic game nights! (I rock Battleship and Catchphrase). My friends are the best... I like riding the bus... I love traveling whether it be a weekend trip or a transatlantic adventure. I am just a happy person who loves making other people smile.

What I’m doing with my life

I teach kindergarten at a private school in Manhattan. I also teach the kiddies movement and music, which is really cute. Other than that, just enjoying life...Oh and improving my "Rock Band" skills.

I’m really good at

baking sweets
making people laugh
giving hugs
dance-offs
board games
getting lost
remember facts
making lists

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Music: my tastes are varied and constantly changing...these days I have really been into; Andrew Bird, Sufjan Stevens, MWard, Gillian Welch, Mia Riddle, jj, Animal Collective, Radiohead, Taken by Trees, Grizzly Bear, Bat for Lashes, 80's power ballads...bad karaoke songs.

Food: umm...love it! Some of my favorite restaurants: Stand, Shake Shack, Veselka, Chip Shop, Perch, Dizzy's, Wantana, that Indiana restaurant on 1st Ave, Organic Grill, Brother Jimmy's, Sugar Sweet Sunshine, How Sweet It Is, Bonnie's Grill, Rachel's, La Taqueria...and of course, Grey Papaya.
