I fix commercial kitchen equipment and heating and air conditioning equipment for my "real job."
I take a lot of things to pieces. This includes my house and cars. Sometimes, I'll even put them back together and get them to work right.
Music has been a big part of me since an early age. Nowdays, I'm lucky enough to play in a group that has a show every Wednesday after i'm outa work. I play banjo, guitar and a few other things. I have also built 5 guitars and helped a friend build one. Music is one of my best social tools and I've made many great friends from it.
I do enjoy being creative in the kitchen (or at the grill) and enjoy sharing food and homebrew with others when I have the time.
I try to camp a few times a year still. I have a few favourite spots and i usually stick with them. Swimming and sailing are essential and outdoor cooking is an art unto itself. Quality fire time is also very important, whether it's in the backyard or many miles away.
I also volunteer at a railway museum, working on the steam locomotives. It's a challenging, but rewarding, bit of work to restore and operate them.
Having said all that, many times there is no place I would rather be than my own house. I value friends that i don't necessarily have to "go out" with.
