My Self-Summary

Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the ultimate best in OK Cupid profiles!

Most people won't fall in love with me but they do like me. I'm ok with this, and I don't believe in love at first sight, or rating... or anything else. However, I do know that most people are able to decide if they'll have sex with another individual within the first thirty seconds of meeting them. Let's hope it's longer on the internets.

That said, I really enjoy meeting new people and I listed friends and activity partners in earnest; not including sexual activities as those "activities", though they can be. However, as a male, I respect there are certain stereotypes, never mind how wrong they are. I'm working pretty hard to battle for gender equality and mutual understanding between the various races and cultures, but one person can not do it all alone... which brings us to why I'm here.

What I’m doing with my life

I'm developing my abilities so I can be the first real supervillain borne of Washington, DC. I'm a huge fan of The Watchmen and equality, and I strive to make the society in which I live better than it was before I joined.
My last projects involved work on a graphic novel- rendering 3D scenes, and managing a club night which celebrates Black musicians and the many artists they have influenced. I also promote a number of parties around Washington.

I dislike writing about what I do to make money because though I enjoy it, it's what I do to make money and has no reflection on who or what I am. There is an idea that many people in DC are wrapped up in their careers; I am not one of them.

I’m really good at

I'm really good at everything except making my bed. I've thus learned how to tuck the corner ends under my mattress so I don't have to do anything other than pull the sheets up so... I guess that first sentence is no longer valid.

I guess I'm really good at survival techniques, understanding people with frightening perception, and erotic massage.

The first things people usually notice about me

Most people notice that the color of my hair doesn't match my beard. This is on purpose. On closer inspection, they notice how damned interesting I am, and you will too.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

As mentioned, The Watchmen. Spider-Man may be my favorite hero, but I have a thing for anti-heroes.

I'm a geek and I'm very much into all things sci-fi, so if it exists in movie form, I've probably seen it or read about it. I don't read books, I listen to them, and thus I have a large collection of audiobooks. Snowcrash is my all-time favorite.

I loved Sunrise, but I'm also into mental anime like Paprika and Paranoia Agent (pretty much anything that director has done is amazing).

Obviously I also count Donny Darko's director... but I also enjoy silliness like Dr. Strangelove, Fight Club, Super Bad, I could go on... I pretty much have a favorite in every genera that's creative and witty; although the witty is subjective.

Music, well, I spend too much time at DC9 listening to Brit-Pop and all the new music they spin. I frequent Black Cat for Northern Soul, Synth-pop... but I also enjoy pretty much all kinds of music though I haven't heard much Country that I've liked.

The six things I could never do without

Freedom of expression and the basic necessities according to Maslow.

I spend a lot of time thinking about

Quarks, lately. I really wish I could have been in the room when they came up with the names, "strange" and "curious". I may have failed to mention that I'm a theoretical physics and language hobbiest.

On a typical Friday night I am

On Fridays, I'm typically getting myself into more trouble than you would think is humanly possible.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I'm trying to figure out how to recover my porn drive, which I accidentally formatted. Yes, it was an entire drive of porn, and I am proud of it because it was the best collection of porn on this side of the planet. Porn is such an interesting thing to me because it reflects sociological values and sex is something all people have in common- just about everyone is either having it, or thinking about it.

Sexuality is a common bond between humans, and unfortunately these days, one of the few. It boggles me to no end how much what is "attractive" has changed through out the ages and how often the comment of "looking pimp" is considered a good thing. When you think about what pimps do, it's not that flattering to either gender... anyway, this is becoming a dinner conversation.
