I am refreshing, rebellious, and ravishing.
My Self-Summary
A Scottish girl living in London, I've just entered the big bad
world of work (well, kind of) and am looking for people to share my
interests and passions with and experience the city with me.
I like: Glasgow, big hair, whisky, letters, jazz, hats, obsidian,
chilling, eyeliner, hugs, funk, photos, gin and tonic, shoes,
kisses.
What I’m doing with my life
Moved to London last year to do my masters... Masters complete, and
now just trying to find a relevant job... London's a great place,
but it's not "home" yet... But it does have its good points - I've
met some great people and had some amazing experiences, so I don't
regret it in the slightest!2
I’m really good at
I think my biggest talents are talking about everything and
nothing, and making a tit of myself. Though I do have some other,
more boring talents like playing music...
The first things people usually notice about me
My enormous mouth - it's usually smiling or laughing
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
a) I love Wicked by Gregory Maguire, American Psycho by Bret Easton
Ellis, and The History of Love by Nicole Krauss. The Chronicles of
Narnia are childhood favourites that I've yet to grow out of, and
I'm afraid my otherwise excellent taste in literature is slightly
marred by a weakness for Harry Potter!
b) The Producers (the original one), Ray, The Green Mile, Buena
Vista Social Club, West Side Story, Hot Fuzz...
Loads of them - too many to mention really
c) Jazz, rock, funk, metal, indie, opera, musicals - I'm easy. I
like it live, I like it loud, and I'm Jazzali on last.fm if you
really want to know!
d) Anything - especially love seafood, Scottish food, Japanese,
Italian, tapas, moules frites, and Mongolian barbeque
The six things I could never do without
My friends, music, laughter, hugs, my family and my mobile or the
internet to keep in touch with everyone.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Everything and nothing - as Dave Gorman/Danny Wallace said, the
trivial is there to be dissected
On a typical Friday night I am
There's no such thing as a "typical" Friday night!
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
Nothing - a girl has to maintain a certain air of mystery... (but
if you ask nicely...)
You should message me if
you're willing to lie about where we met.
