My self-summary
I like to have fun, be outside, and active. I'm a pretty wide open guy who's down for almost anything. I'm at a point where I'd like to start settling down a little bit, but not too much.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm moving to Indianapolis on April 1st for a promotion with my current job. I plan on staying there for at least two years possibly three, but I'd like to head back to Minnesota or Chicago at some point. If I meet the right person in Indy though I could probably be convinced to stay.
I’m really good at
I was a three sport athlete in high school and I try and stay active doing anything athletic I can. Although it's less football, basketball, and baseball and more golf, softball, running, and biking. I started doing Judo and Jujitsu recently as well which is a lot of fun. I also play guitar and try and do as much writing as I can.
The first things people usually notice about me
I'm tall, and I look exactly like Jason Segel's funnier and better looking twin brother.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I've never been much of a reader, more of a writer.

My DVD collection is filled with mostly classic 80's and 90's movies(Die Hard, Ghostbusters, Back to the Future, Indiana Jones, anything with Bill Murray). I love the new Star Trek reboot, anything South Park related, Borne Trilogy, Matrix, Quinton Terantino, and most of the Super Hero Genre.

I don't watch much TV at all. There's so little on that's worth watching it's ridiculous and it usually keeps me from doing something more constructive. When I do watch TV it's usually Football, Daily Show, Cobert, or South Park. Otherwise I'll pick up a season of this and that on DVD like Dexter.

Music: I'm mostly a classic rock and 90's rock kind of guy. Favorite bands are Zeppelin, Rage, Chili Peppers, Dave Matthews, and STP. I like some newer stuff like the Black Keys, Mumford, Vampire Weekend..... I've also been listening to a lot more classical music and jazz lately.
The six things I could never do without
My dog, my guitar, spotify, a grill, sunshine, and golf.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Politics: that's mostly what I write about. It's not something I like to discuss or argue about in personal conversations, but I enjoy writing about it and leaving it out there for people to take it or leave it. Other than that sports, physics, music...
On a typical Friday night I am
I'm usually out having a drink with friends some where. I don't really like the bar scene as much any more, but I'm still more likely to be out doing something on the weekends.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm a software developer, but before you judge I'm probably the least nerdy one you'll ever meet. Don't get me wrong I like Star Trek, and I have nothing against people with a nerd streak in them, but I'll probably surprise you.
