My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
The name blackgnostic sums me up. Gnosis (Greek for knowing) is the root of Gnosticism. It is the study of the truths that bind the universe together. It is a path that I have been on since I was 8 years old, even before I knew what it was and well before I could put a name to it.

Kinda heavy for a regular guy, right? But that journey is personal, so while I don't impose it on others, it does allow me to better understand people around me. So I'm not a guru or a monk. I'm a simple man with complex interest. Or is that an oxymoron...hmmm...
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Winding down my mundane gig after 30+ years. Been a round peg in a square hole for too long. Kids are grown and I'm ready to have my interest take center stage rather than my job.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I am a natural analyst. (Too bad I didn't make a living with it)
Good photographer
Good with computers.
Tutoring people

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
A good book, interesting people, an interesting hobby, music, the sun on my face, a clear mind.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
The path I'm on and the next turn in front of me. Trying to stay in the now...
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Working for now. Saturday and Sunday are always open...
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I could tell you , but...
