I'm just a normal girl living life. :)

These sorts of things (self summaries) seem to be a lot more enlightening to the author then anyone else, in my opinion. It really shows how little (or how much for some of you lucky bastards out there) we really know about ourselves. I guess I'll start with the easy stuff and hope that everything will flow once I get going.

Academics, particularly science/computers/math, have been a large part of my life thus far. In high school, I participated in clubs such as Science Olympiad, Robotics, and SkillsUSA (to name a few). Since graduating, I've felt that I missed out on whole other aspects of life, a world of experiences and fun.

I'm still rockin the science in college, I AM an electrical engineering major, but now I'm trying to experience life like I've never done so before. It's a bit of a process, making the transition from shy to some sort of social entity, but I am making progress and that's what counts.

I like going out and doing things, preferably cheap things, but those are so hard to come by. I love live music, there's hardly anything more exhilarating then getting lost in the music and sharing the experience with a crowd of people. Living in the energy of the moment at a concert is a wonderful thing.

While I enjoy going to venues like Emos and Stubbs, I also like the smaller and more laid back places. Pipes Plus on the Drag is my favorite hands down. Music festivals are also a blast!

I don't have a job (yet), so most of the time I find myself just chillin with friends where ever we can find a spot. My friends have always been just as much my family as my real one.

If you haven't deduced already, I'm a pretty big nerd. And I'm damn proud of that. No matter how much I change I know I'll always have that part of me and that's a great feeling.

Currently I am attending The University of Texas as an electrical engineering undergrad. I just got an apartment close to campus and am now looking for some employments.
