Covering a civil war six years ago, I had my neck broken in a rather unfortunate car smash. Paralysed from the shoulders down, I clawed my way back up to a role at the heart of the global news and information system. Now in a wheelchair, I got back to work the day after I left hospital, was reporting from overseas 13 months after my injury.
