Should harmful tobacco products be outlawed?yes the products are harmful. But if you treat people like adults, and allow them to make informed decisions, they'll generally act better. Prohibition only increased alcohol use, and it made organized crime huge.

Which event sounds most appealing? What the crap? How can I choose between the first three? Of course, a Robert Heinlein convention would cover the first two pretty well, but I'm interested in all three fairly equally these days. That's even with a degree in music composition.

Let sanity begin... I hope.
Mar 29, 2007
Well, the last two weeks have been a little crazy for me. By that,
I mean they seemed rather sane, and mostly enjoyable
throughout.
I currently work a late second shift, which means I clock out at midnight. No evening during the week for me. But my employer's had a lot of lead openings recently, and my supervisor told everyone on the shift to apply for them. So, I may soon gain evenings.
I've also gotten a chance to play more music recently. I'm playing with some others from church for a fundraiser concert for a mission trip to Turkey. It'll probably end after the concert, but I'm enjoying it while it lasts.
In other music news, I've also started giving violin lessons to a girl from church, and it has been a blast. I would like to get more students, maybe even some on flute and in composition/theory, but I also need to learn more about how to teach first.
