I'm looking for a guy who is naturally dominant (but not creepily so), enjoys video games (especially RPGs), likes reading books, can spell, is confident, intelligent, and even a little smug. Also, someone who is clean, practices good hygiene. It's so hard to find confident, smart geeky guys but that's what I love. :)
Now for the longer version:
I love music, video games (everything from RPGs, FPS, Strategy, on the xbox, iPad, laptop, you name it) anime, comics, books, and most humans, despite being slightly nihilistic.
I'm married/ polyamorous with kalopsian, with whom I practice responsible nonmonogamy, have 3 young kidlets, an awesome software engineering job at a cyber security firm, and a fun group of friends with which I play obscene amounts of video games, board games, and living-room-karaoke with plenty of gin.
Despite being so busy I really love meeting awesome people! Which is why I'm here, after all. I'm looking for people who enjoy thinking and talking about life, philosophy, literature, music and human behavior, but can just as easily unplug and be silly. In reality, most of the time I'm just silly. I love sitting home laughing at weird internet videos, watching old Jackie Chan movies, or browsing Reddit. I'm easy to get along with and I love internet culture.
One of my favorite things to do is cook for my friends. I love feeding the people I love :)
If you're weirded out about the polyamory stuff feel free to ask me questions; I'm happy to talk about it!
I'm curvy, rather tall for a girl at 5'8", am not the biggest fan of hardcore exercise since I'd rather be reading or gaming or cooking or oh just about anything else. So if you're a die hard fitness nut... we might not have a lot in common. Just sayin'. (^o^)
Lately I've been obsessed with Dragon Age and reading Dragon Age fanfic (and daydreaming about having sex with the ancient elvhen god in the game, so if you happen to be one, let me know immediately!) =^.^=
Also, I hate these profiles. It's so hard to convey who I am in a few paragraphs. So in a nutshell, let it be known that I'm weird, fun, and have infinite amounts of love for my friends and family.
Playing video games (mostly Dragon Age right now), reading, raising kids, cooking fun things all the time, and entertaining friends.
Lord of the Rings, ANYTHING by Neil Gaiman, Railsea, Great Gatsby, Ender's Game, anything by Vonnegut, Earthsea. Currently reading The Fifteen Lives of Harry August.
Freakangels, Y: The Last Man, Wet Moon, Wonder Woman, Locke & Key, The Massive, Saga, Paper Girls, Sex Criminals
Dragon Age, Mass Effect, Skyrim, Bioshock, Gone Home, GTA, Bastion, Minecraft, Diablo, Tomb Raider, Borderlands, Portal, Civ, Digital A Hate Story, Analogue A Love Story, Alice, Neverwinter, and all the old Mario games, Atari games (pong, pitfall, etc). I also LOVE word games even though Zynga is terrible and evil.

X-Files, Archer, Primer, Jessica Jones, Arrested Development, Totoro, Serenity, Firefly, Buffy, Doctor Who, Adventure Time, Cowboy Bebop, Outlaw Star, Kamikaze Girls, Star Trek, Dr. Horrible, Hackers, Anti Trust, ANY Jackie Chan movie... :)
I'm super obsessed with this song right now, it's so pretty: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h3lWwMHFhnA
I like a good mix of electronica, indie/folk, emo/punk, etc. Of note: Dar Williams, Sleeping at Last, Iron & Wine, Ben Folds, Death Cab, Postal Service, Panic at the Disco, Ben Harper, Jason Mraz, Skrillex, Deadmau5, David Bowie, The Decemberists, Infected Mushroom, MGMT, Paramore, Regina Spektor, St. Vincent, Sufjan Stevens, Violent Femmes, Van Morrison, M83, Sam Hart, Crystal Castles, DJ Tiesto, and so much more. I love music.
Asian food is my favorite - Japanese, Korean, Indian, Thai, Vietnamese, etc. I love love love sushi. I like food that's not boring. I don't really eat things like lasagna or meatloaf because I require FLAVOR. I enjoy cooking and experimenting with food.
1. Stories, whether in book, video game, movie/show formats.
2. My kids and husband - they're just awesome.
3. Autumn/Winter - the dark half of the year is my favorite.
4. The spaces in between.
The cycle of life, trying to figure out what matters and what doesn't, relationships, the way humans treat each other, trying to filter out the noise and discover what is sacred and vital.
Ok, I guess that's not really private. This is though:
Renaissance-era paintings of naked people really turn me on. No idea why. Oh, and hentai is awesome - even with (especially with) tentacles. And I'm a little too obsessed with video game fanfic.
