My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
My friends tell me I'm the most "real" person they know. I've learned that life is way too precious to waste it on pretenses and machinations. I like to keep things simple: fresh air to breath, pure water to swim in, hard work to make me feel like I accomplished something, mental stimulation to keep my brain going and last, but never the least, being immersed in the warmth and passion of the man I love.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm in "the third box" of life and loving it. I've carved my career and raised a child who takes my breath away by how accomplished she is. Now I'm living outside the third box: challenging myself by coloring outside the lines and feeling the risk. It's the bomb!
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
exploring new adventures and trying new experiences. All within a budget, of course.

Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Favorite books I recently read were the Steig Larson series, "Girl With...". Last movie I saw that I can't get out of my head: Crazy Stupid Love. Shows? As in concert? Loved U2, Lady GaGa, Chris Isaak at the Zoo Ampitheatre, Stevie Nicks at Mystic... too much good music, too little time. Love the music that's infectious in a good way (get a bad infection from rap). Hmmm... food is like fuel and I don't get too excited about it. Some, like lots of heavy meats and pasta and carbs, I do avoid.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Good health
Love of the man I adore
The kindness of friends and family
My daughter's love and respect
Great music
My faith

celebrating! Fridays are a celebration: we've all successfully navigated through another mosh pit of an unmitigated drama-filled workweek.
