My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm a marketing professional that has been living in Columbus since going to college at Ohio State. I decided to move here after growing up in a very rural part of Ohio because I wanted to be able to be more active in a large community and immerse myself in the diverse culture of the city. I also don't mind things staying open later than 8 p.m.

One of my favorite hobbies is cooking. I grew up in a restaurant that my family owned and that has led me to develop a love of not only the preparing of meals but also the eating. I regularly attempt to prepare whole new meals in order to expand my repertoire. After growing up in a restaurant, my family says I'm crazy for thinking I may want to have restaurant of my own some day. For now I will settle for cooking for friends and shooting to have my item finished first at my work pot-lucks.

I'm looking for some new books to read - do you have any suggestions? I have recently finished Andromeda Strain by Michael Crichton, Red Rising by Pierce Brown and The Martian by Andy Weir. Golden Boy by Brown is next on the list.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm currently trying to read more and spend more time working on my house (so many projects, so little time!). One of my favorite things to do on the weekend is to check out the new bars/restaurants that have been opening around town. When it warms up, I will be looking forward to catching some Clippers games and cheering on the Crew!
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
...being sarcastic. Like really good.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
It depends on if it's bushy beard season for me or not. I've had an uncomfortable number of men come up to me in public and talk about my excellent facial hear and their utter lack of ability to grow anything close to an illustrious mane such as mine.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: I like reading science fiction books (Anything Asimov, Ender's Game, Ready Player One). Michael Crichton is probably my favorite author as I've liked almost everything of his I've read (favorite being Timeline). Some other popular notables include: Hunger Games, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Song of Fire and Ice.

Movies: Comedies (BASEketball, Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back, Wet Hot American Summer, Beerfest, Anchorman). I also really like action movies (Tron Legacy, The Matrix, Dredd, Nolan Batman series).

TV Shows: Way too much Netflix. Futurama, South Park, Bob's Burgers, Arrested Development, Workaholics, Party Down, Dexter, Weeds, Top Chef, House of Cards, Better of Ted, Parks and Rec, Entourage.

I love food. Hounddog's is my favorite place to eat in the entire city. When I'm not eating pizza, I want to be be talking to you about eating pizza followed by a conversation on eating ice cream. It's about to get real when you tell me that Jeni's is better than Graeter's.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. Pizza
2. Craft Beer
3. Ice Cream
4. A Comfortable Bed
5. Hot Showers
6. Early 90's Pop Music
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
What I'll be doing in a few years. Should I stay in Columbus or move to another city/state. Where I should visit around the country or internationally.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Looking for some food and drink with friends or staying in and playing some board games. Are you in for a game of Cones of Dunshire?
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I currently owe $2.40 cents to the Columbus Library. Don't let them know my whereabouts, I don't want the library police coming after me.

You would be interested in cooking a meal together sometime or checking out something that has recently opened around town - I feel like a new brewery opens every month these days.
