My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Does your idea of a perfect first date involve climbing trees at midnight, finding the strangest restaurant in the darkest corner of the city and ordering the weirdest item, competing throughout the evening to see which of us can make the other laugh more often, and arguing passionately about who would win in a science-off? Then congratulations, you have found me at last.

In spite of studying my brains out to get ready for medical school, I strive to find moments of play like this. My relaxed demeanor may mislead you, though; personal sincerity and integrity is my highest-held value, but I am learning not to take myself too seriously. For instance, I am not without a supreme sense of humor about the fact that I appear to be a quintessential hipster from my outward appearance, but in my defense I'm a sincere believer that wearing a dinosaur button-down shirt or a bow tie has the magical effect of drawing exactly the kind of intelligent, nerdy, quirky kind of people into my presence that I enjoy (and repelling the sort that I don't.) Besides, bow ties are cool.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Looking for a better job for the coming year while applying to medical school. My ideal life is filled with adventure, family, love, and laughter. If that sounds vaguely like a line from Gilmore Girls, it's only a coincidence. A coincidence...
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Not sure how to do this without sounding arrogant, but here goes...
I'm handy. I can fix your computer. And build things. So that's a plus.
Climbing things at random. It's a thing.
Handstands. Because, of course?
Science! I can't promise to not occasionally go on a little science rant from time to time.
Puzzles, of the human variety and otherwise.
Cooking. If you ever say "Bitch, make me a sandwich!" I will be very angry. And then -- in the manliest way possible -- I will make you a sandwich to make the angels weep with envy.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I like to think I put people at ease.

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Friends/family
The internet
Music
The ability to run
Adventure
Pets
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Science-y things.

Self improvement; I try to do periodic self-checks for the kind of foibles that tend to like to hide in all of our collective blind spots. I have a mind of my own, but I appreciate constructive criticism from the right people.

Whichever hobby I'm currently obsessed with. When I become interested in something, I give it my all until I've mastered it. Current obsessions: brewing beer and acro-yoga.

Haters, and how they are prone to hate. (Client facing jobs are, at certain times, a special hell)
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Hanging out with my friends, either at home or doing a lazy bar crawl. When I have someone special in my life I'm just as prone to shutting out the world for the evening and talking, cooking, playing video games, or watching a movie together.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Sometimes I'm wrong. Don't tell anyone, or I'll deny I ever said it.

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You want to tell me the one really special, unique thing about you that you don't think enough people notice about you. Maybe everyone says your eyes are pretty, but you wish just once someone would comment on the little beauty mark by your right eye. Perhaps you are known at work for your unmatched genius with numbers, but you're so much more proud of the poems you've been hiding in a shoebox in your closet since you were a teenager.
Or, you know, just to say hi. That works too.
