Hey everyone,
I am tall, blond, with a rather acidic sense of humor. I really enjoy travelling, seeing and trying new things (foods, cultural oddities, architecture, sports), discussions about politics or various other topics, music, tango argentino, independent cinema, mathematics and much more.
Uhm. It should be evident by now that I am really bad at doing only one thing at a time, and that I have horribly wide-ranging interests.

What I’m doing with my life
Usually too many things at once. I finished my Diplom last Summer
and am currently working on my PhD. I also started a startup a few
years ago -- we're now a team of 8 people, and it's a lot of fun
still.
I am lucky in that both my work and the PhD stuff are activities that I enjoy -- as such I am terribly happy with my life.

The first things people usually notice about me
Probably that no matter how hard I try to dress properly, there is
always something slightly disheveled about me. I was once told that
I am good at wearing suits, mainly because I manage to look casual
in them. This means that I can easily look *very* casual outside of
a suit.
