I'm a loving, caring, sweet girl. I have big goals for myself, and I am determined to have fun while I reach those goals. I have a lot of interests, but then again don't we all?

I'm originally from St. Charles, but I just recently moved to the Loop in order to be closer to work. I'm a graphic designer for a pretty sweet company. I love my job and feel very lucky to have found it. I've always considered myself to be an artist. I do lots of nerdy art things like printmaking, book binding, crocheting, etc.

I like video games every now and then, and I've recently been rewatching It's Always Sunny. Comedy is definitely my favorite genre. Always looking for recommendations. I read a lot, run and bike when it's not raining, cook / bake, and a bunch of other things. I love, love, LOVE music. I hit live shows whenever I can, and my headphones are my most-worn accessory. I'm going through a huge dub phase right now, but I listen to just about everything other than rap, country, and slow jazz. Oldies always have a place in my heart.

I love traveling, and I've been trying to figure out where my next road trip will take me. A friend of mine is trying to talk me into Canada, so that may be happening some time this summer.

I've got a good sense of humor. I'm a huge smartass and love being around other people with a dry sense of humor.

Music wise I've been listening to a lot of Alex Clare lately, and don't get me started on how awesome The Maccabees are. I love oldies like Cream, The Beatles, Billy Joel, Heart, and CCR. I really like electronica. 3OH!3, Mika, Billy Talent and the Bravery are some others that I enjoy. The Offspring and the Used have to be two of my top ten favorite bands. I'm always up for giving something new a listen, though I'm not a country fan. I'm also fairly picky about what heavy metal, rap, and classical music I'll listen to.

Books: Anything Laurell K Hamilton, Chuck Palahniuk or Dean Koontz generally.

Movies: Paper Moon, Happy Gilmore, The Fall, Planes Trains and Automobiles, The Boondock Saints, What About Bob?, Tenth Kingdom, Pulp Fiction, Reservoir Dogs, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, Iron Man, I Love You Man, My Cousin Vinny, Pineapple Express, Cyrano de Bergerac...

Shows: It's Always Sunny, Dexter, True Blood, The Office, Haven, Bones, Bob's Burgers, The League, The Walking Dead.
