My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I have all my teeth, a full time job, and a car so in internet speak I'm a total catch.

About me... Thirty some-odd years ago two parents gave birth to the most beautiful, amazing, baby boy who would eventually go on to do great things... I was born in the room next to him.

All kidding aside I'm a transplant from St. Louis, Missouri who after serving 4 years in the Army chose to move here for a fresh start. So far I haven't regretted that decision one bit. Gotta love the four seasons here.

I am very laid back, easy going, and open minded. I always try to find the silver lining in everything. I am usually shy and quiet at first but I am very sarcastic and sometimes have a very crude sense of humor. I love to laugh at most things, particularly myself.

I love to cook and like to think I am pretty good at it. Unfortunately I haven't been able to cook for anyone lately so I resort to easy to make stuff. I play amateur baseball during the summer, love to fish and camp, and just be outdoors in general. I have traveled throughout Europe and would love to get back to Germany someday.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Trying to find more hours in the day. I work as a Manager for a security company. which consumes a lot of my time even when I'm not on duty. I also have the most energetic 6 year old girl that keeps me on my toes.

My work hours vary but during the week I can usually be found at Lifetime Fitness or out walking my dogs around lake Nokomis or Calhoun.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Juggling, making people laugh, procrastinating, cooking, building couch cushion forts, back rubs. Trivial Pursuit...I am a plethora of useless knowledge. My daughter tells me I am also the Best Daddy in the World...and of course that is a completely unbiased opinion :-)
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I am usually fairly shy so at first I am kind of quiet unless the other person can keep me going. I open up quick and am usually laughing and joking in no time. Other than that I'm not to sure what people really notice...I'm kind of scared to ask
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

I don't read to many books, I'm not going to lie and try to make myself look like I am this deep thinker reading some of the greats. I do read the newspaper every day; I try to stay informed on whatever is going on locally and worldwide. Occasionally I will read Tom Clancy novels or whatever suspense book is left around the office at work. The last book I actually read was A Million Little Pieces, which despite being fiction was a great story of perseverance and overcoming addiction.

Movies: I'll watch pretty much anything. I love Horror movies, especially bad ones... Human Centipede anyone. A few of my favorites are Despicable Me, Zombieland, The Departed, The Expendables, Donnie Brasco, Casino.

TV: Regular Show, Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Duck Dynasty, Breaking Bad, How I Met Your Mother, Big Bang Theory, Pawn Stars, Family Guy, How Its Made, and pretty much anything on the History Channel

Music: I'm not going to list my entire Itunes library but I mostly listen to 90's Alternative Rock like Pearl Jam, Smashing, Pumpkins, Foo Fighters, and Red Hot Chili Peppers. I also like Arctic Monkeys, The Black Keys, Imagine Dragons.

Food, I will try anything. I ABSOLUTELY love Sushi. Other than that I will try a point.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My Daughter
My phone
The cool side of my pillow
Cool breezes
Peanut Butter
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Why so many people claim they would survive a Zombie Apocalypse yet they're scared of spiders and strange dogs.

Why it seems people get more shallow as they get older.

Why nobody seems to want to run unless they're paying fifty bucks to do a 5k

That the common denominator in all my failed relationships is me... Is that Right?

What it would be like to have my daily activities and life narrated by Morgan Freeman.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Usually i spend the time doing something with my daughter. I try going to a movie or going out with friends for a few drinks.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Sometimes when my grandma isn't home I like to go into her garden, bury myself in the soil, and pretend I'm a carrot

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You won't flake out on our first date. I've honestly had more people cancel last minute than follow through. Seriously, how many people can really start feeling sick just before they're supposed to meet me?

You want to get to know an honest, caring compassionate person that loves to laugh and have fun no matter what. You are actually looking fur something long term and have no intentions of leading me on just to let me down. You're honest, and emotionally stable enough for a relationship.
