I am one adjective, another adjective, and a third adjective.

My Self-Summary

I don't have much to say about myself, so I'll tell a story about lies;

A couple of years ago I worked at a Blockbuster with my manager Miguel. The guy had a scary Type-A personality; he didn't have the drive to do something beyond working at Blockbuster, but was always talking about his vague, ambitious dreams and constantly trusting his shitty "life advice" onto me me.

Once, while we were talking about a film, I mentioned that I thought that everybody has to lie every now and then, and that lying is probably a sign of a healthy person.
He looked me straight into the eye and said;
"Well, I never lie; Superman doesn't lie, so I never lie."
Which is bullshit for two reasons;

1. Superman lies all the time; he pretends to be Clark Kent.
2. Superman lies all the time; he PRETENDS TO BE CLARK KENT

Years later, I visited a the store and discovered that no one I worked with was there anymore.
I asked the manager what happened to them, and he told me that they all where fired for a scam where they bilked the company out of thousands of dollars.
I asked about Miguel.
He said; "Yeah, he was the leader of it all."

What I’m doing with my life

I am currently a Film BFA major going to UCF.

For money, I work the in the fast-paced industry of chicken delivery. I also make ends meet by working as a grip/pa on film sets. No, actually, I just quit that job because the guy was running the business so badly he couldn't afford to pay me.

I like to collect 8mm and 16mm prints, especially educational films. I got about 9 of them now, including my pride and joy; a 16mm educational film called "Superjock"

I’m really good at

Cooking! I love stealing ideas from the food network, especially foods you don't normally think would be easy to make in the kitchen.
Also I make things using index cards and a lot of glue, or other little pet projects like that.

The first things people usually notice about me

The fact that I'm pretty tall, my blue eyes, my sense of humor.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

I read a lot, but usually the same books over and over and over. On my bookshelves there are, like, 500 books that don't even have their spine broken and about 10 books that are utterly disintegrated. My favorite authors are Flannery O'Connor and Donald Barthelme. Raymond Carver and Junot Diaz are pretty good too.

Movies; The Third Man, Bonnie and Clyde, On the Waterfront, Blade II, Josie and the Pussy Cats, A Boy and His Dog, Spellbound, Repo Man, Pootietang, Crank, The Apartment, Boiler Room. Movies with werewolves. Werewolves are cool

Food: Mexican, Thai, and Chinese, as long as its not one of those rip-off food-poisoning-waiting-to-happen $5 dollars for a buffet plate Chinese restaurants. What's the deal with those places?

The six things I could never do without

1. School
2. My friends
3. Afternoon naps
4. Wikipedia
5. My tiny little laptop.
6. A sixth thing

I spend a lot of time thinking about

I don't have anything else to put here either, so another story...about another shitty co-worker, by coincidence;

When I was in high school, I worked in this one clothing shop with this one creepy co-worker. He used to brag to me how, in the old shop, there was this balcony that he could climb up on to watch the girls in the changing rooms. When I asked him why no one ever caught him, he shrugged and told me "no one ever looks up."

Since he told me that, every now and then I'll catch myself glancing at the ceiling.

On a typical Friday night I am

I used to be a lot more active, but nowadays on a typical Friday night I am banging my head in trying to handle the avalanche of school work.

If I'm free, I'm going to Ibar, or one of the other downtown clubs. Or just spend it with friends, drinking.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I have been a fan of musical theater ever since I was a kid.

Also, my political beliefs can be best described as "arbitrary" and "kneejerk." Which is why I try my hardest to keep my mouth shut about politics.

You should message me if

I figure if I knew what I was looking for, I wouldn't be here.
The one thing I usually like is girls who are - like - 20 times smarter than me.
