Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Un canadien en France.
Born in Edmonton
Ended up in Toronto training as a singer/dancer. I was all over the
place for a while performing in musicals on tours and cruise
Traded my dance shoes for textbooks at the University of
Toronto/OISE where I've magically emerged with a degree in
teaching, cultural anthropology, and a minor in French.
I love to travel. I won't say "no" to a nice hotel, but I prefer
backpacking, hostels, and meeting locals to hang out with. No zoos.
NO swim-with-the-dolphins stuff.
I've been a vegetarian since I was 14 & I'm still going
I love to swim. It's strangely cathartic for me.
[....I just had to look up "cathartic" to make sure I actually knew
what it meant.......close enough!]
I adore dogs, but my home and lifestyle just aren't a good fit for
having one around at the moment. If you've got one, I'll go for
walks with you.
[....this is getting a little long for a self "summary"! shoot me a
message if you'd like to chat]
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Waiting for my mom to win the lottery. She's been promising me
since I was 11.
Until that happens....
I'm living in France until April 2015 teaching adorable French kids
who often dress better than I do.
Back to Canada May 1, 2015
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Writing letters. Real letters: paper & pen, old-school
letter-in-the-mailbox letters and post-cards. So if we become
friends, be prepared to share your mailing address with me!

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. A Swimming Pool
3. My Bike
4. Nature Clean Products
5. My Contacts/Glasses (SO blind!)
6. My Smartphone...how else am I gonna return your call?!?!
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Russia & Tibet. They are two places very dear to my heart and
they're both often on my mind.
Also, people who take selfies of themselves "sleeping" with their
dogs. TOTALLY adorable, but I know you're not sleeping...you're
taking a picture of yourself. And unless you're a very effective
sleep-walker, you're not fooling me(!)
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?

Maybe checking out a documentary @ Bloor Hot Docs Cinema.
Trying to find someone to go the symphony with!
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Well, if I wrote it here it wouldn't exactly be private, would
BUT here we go: I cry. Be forewarned. If it's a touching movie,
music video, piece of theatre, commercial, etc. I don't hold back
