I guess I'm kind of geeky to be honest. I'm not socially inept or anything... I just work with computers a lot(professionally) or I'll be reading a book when I'm not out with friends. I'm not really the type that watches a lot of sports. I enjoy sports, I'd just rather play them myself than watch someone else play them.

I enjoy skateboarding, snowboarding(kinda new at that though), Basketball, and I'm really into studying history, politics and philosophy. Oh yeah, I am a tattoo artist, and I like to paint subjects such as people and animals or landscapes(digitally), but I'm confident I could tackle just about anything. I wish I would have picked up a musical instrument when I was younger, but right now I don't know how to use anything musical besides fruityloops, ha ha.

What am I doing with my life? I'm working as a graphic designer/illustrator for a number of clients along with relative freelance. I just flew into Atlanta from Seattle Nov 17th and I'm currently working full time as a Flash designer. Besides working towards goals that I set for myself, well, I still feel young so I end up spending a lot of my free time having fun and hanging out. I've been phasing into the weight of responsibility but I have everything handled.

I mostly read non-fiction because of my desire for knowledge and learning, but that's not too fair because one can learn from fiction too =)
I enjoy reading about philosophy and ancient history, particularly ancient Middle Eastern history, but I have enjoyed the following fiction: 1984, Snow Crash, Diamond Age, American Gods, basically anything that challenges my boundaries or makes me think. I am currently reading: The Gnostic Jung by Stephan Hoeller, Shankara's crest-jewel of discrimination

Music: I think I'm pretty diverse in my musical tastes. I can dig everything, but I especially like rock and hip-hop. I like anything between classic rock, industrial, hardcore metal and rap. Not very keen on country music, but I like bluegrass sometimes.

... I know this question is suppose to reference what kinds of things I occupy myself with, but honestly I could drop all of it and I would still feel fine. I refuse to try and reach for security through things outside of myself.
