I'm in the third year of doing an arts PhD. It's lots and lots of fun, but keeps me very busy and I'm looking to meet more people and do more varied things as well.
I like walking, watching films (preferably in the cinema!), listening to music, reading, following recommendations for music and books, chatting (about media, politics, history), meeting people, cooking (not promising quality though...), travelling, and hippy and androgynous styles. Can be a bit shy at first, but get chatty if we find some good areas where we get on! I'm socialist by inclination and very socially liberal, with a particular interest in feminism and LGBT rights. I dislike being boxed into conventional roles and I consider myself genderqueer.
Believe that life is more about the joy of the journey than worrying about where you end up. (Although maybe I'm just perplexed by all those people getting married around me, and my lack of inclination that direction.)`On the whole, I'm hugely looking forward to my 30s which I hope will be basically a much better version of my 20s in which I'll have a better idea of who I am.
