My Self-Summary
I travel a fair amount around the country (and sometimes the world)
for work and volunteering, but inevitably return to my home in the
Boston area to roost. I'm an amalgam of east and west, tradition
and innovation, analysis and activity; a bit of a technologist and
futurist, with a strong humanist streak.
What I’m doing with my life
Recently graduated college with degrees in journalism and
philosophy. Working full time for the family business, while
volunteering in media education and at the local public access
station.
I believe in -- and apply my efforts toward -- a world free of willful ignorance and negative stereotypes, sustained by healthy and strong communities, open communication, and collaborative approaches to problem-solving.

The six things I could never do without
Something engaging to work on, something exciting to look forward
to, something interesting to learn, someplace shared to connect
with others, someplace private to recharge, someone human to relate
to.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
community in physical and digital spaces, open education and
business, the evolution of transparency in social life, the meaning
of family in different cultures, how to practice good design,
finding balance in all things.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
I'm actually somewhere around a 4 on the Kinsey scale, but
interested in dating men for a change. Considering which way the
cards are stacked, don't take it too personally if I don't express
interest in you.
