My self-summary
I lost my left leg to cancer at 16, it has taught me: a) I now have more room on commercial airline flights. b) swimming in a straight line is now much harder. c) nothing in life is worth taking too seriously.

I've also learned to use this to my advantage. You wouldn't believe how quickly I can clear a spot at the beach by approaching someone and whispering "I can't believe you're sitting this close to the water" and then leaving.

I thrive on snark, witty banter, and coffee. Not necessarily all at once. But sometimes all at once.

I spent some time living in Ireland, and it was awesome. I have a special relationship with Guinness. Also whilst abroad these things happened:

a) I was accidentally dragged (in a group) to a crack den in London by a Welsh man who wouldn't stop talking about his small penis.

b) I was blessed by the Pope. It was terrifying until it was over.

c) I learned that when you attend the Olympics in Turin at the last minute, you must sleep in a train station. And so must everyone else.

Someone once said to me "I'm used to your unbridled heat."

Other favorite quotations:

"The world is a stage, but the play is badly cast."- Oscar Wilde

"If you want to be understood... listen" - the film Babel

"What!? It's like you ain't never seen chicken before, you sandwich-eatin' motherfucker!"- possibly-homeless man eating chicken outside 7-11 in Central Square, to young woman exiting the store.

I spend a lot of time thinking about
places I want to visit, and what I need to do to be labeled as "more kinky" on a list of similar users on OkCupid.
On a typical Friday night I am
hanging out with friends. Various endings to these evenings have included flipping over backward off a hotel porch, falling into a puddle at about 25mph, and a Canadian bouncer named Joel.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
E.T. was terrifying.
