My name's Roger. I have a B.S. in Criminal Justice from FIU and I work in a related field. I was born in Nicaragua, but was raised in Miami from age 2. While I still love where I'm from, Miami (with all it's faults) is home.

I'm a pretty laid back guy and haven't ever really concerned myself with what others think of me. I'm a good guy and tend to get along with everybody. I like to think that I'm funny, if a bit quirky. I'm a good cook, if by cooking you mean that I can make a tasty steak, chicken breast, or egg.

I've always been a big reader Horror,Sci-Fi, History, Crime, Espionage. I'm apt to read just about anything except what's currently popular. It'll take an act of god to get me to read a Harry Potter book; nothing against him, just won't read the books at this time, that's just how I roll. My favorite writers include William C. Dietz, Terry Goodkind, Brian Lumley, Sergei Lukyanenko, Robert E. Howard, J.R.R. Tolkien, and H.P. Lovecraft.

I'm a gamer (From NES to Xbox 360) and always have been, probably always will be. When life and work allow, you can find me on any number of games on xbox live. If you want to go a few rounds, send me a message.

I'm also sports fan (Soccer, Football, MMA), and Rugby. Those are the sports I'll play or watch. Any other sport I can take or leave, these are my core.

I love music, I'll listen to almost anything, but I'd be lying if I didn't say that my main interests lie in the metal realm. Progressive metal, Death, Progressive Death, Black, Avant-Garde, and Power are all part of my vast CD collection. I'm a head banger who doesn't look the part. Lately, I've been getting into techno due to the magic of Sirius radio. Dream Theater is is the greatest band of all time.

Only my DVD collection rivals my CD collection. I'm a film buff. I love it all, from Horror to Comedy and back. I'll happily watch Night of the Living Dead, The Princess Bride, and The Godfather Trilogy back to back.

I'm living the dream. Doing what I've wanted to do since I was a kid and having a good time doing it.

Adapting to the situation. Pwning faces on my 360. Surprising people just when they think they have me figured out. Paying attention. Not being an ass.

Movies - Just about anything and everything. Night of the Living Dead and its sequels, An American Werewolf in London, House of 1000 Corpses, The Devil's Rejects, Friday the 13th Series, Nightmare on Elm Street Series, The Godfather Trilogy, They Live, The Princess Bride, Dog Soldiers, The Beast, Yojimbo, Seven Samurai, The Lion King, Life Stinks, Young Frankenstein, Fargo, Rambo Series, Le Pact des Loups, Ichi the Killer, Leon the Professional, Heat, Ronin, The Battle of Algiers, Up, and so on and so on with no end.

Mel Brooks is the one true King of Comedy. Only he makes movies that are still funny, not matter how many times you see them.

Music - I'm all over the place, with an emphasis on the heavy. Empyrean Sky, I, Immortal, Symphony X, Dream Theater, Ayreon, Heart, Metallica, Subterranean Masquerade, Exodus, Rammstein, Trans-Siberian Orchestra, Liquid Tension Experiment, Al Di Meola, Red Hot Chili Peppers, System of a Down, Scars on Broadway, Serj Tankian, Rage Against the Machine, Dark Empire, Doctor Butcher, Ghoul, Arcturus, ZZ Top, David Bowie. I'm just all over the spectrum.

Food - Been trying to eat healthier but what tastes good tastes good. Italian, Nicaraguan, Cuban, Japanese, Chinese, Thai, and Mexican.
