My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I am looking for someone wonderful... If you can make me laugh, you'll win my heart. I am looking for a Godly man who values his family with traditional values. I lead a full and happy life. I am a Southern girl with a joyful and appreciative spirit.
I am warm-hearted, friendly, and generous. I am the care giver in my family and close circle of friends. I am also vivacious, optimistic, and extroverted. I have a background in education and love teaching, coaching, and mentoring kids. I have a playful spirit and prioritize fun while simultaneously setting, pursuing and accomplishing my goals to better myself and my life. I am spiritually grounded and my faith is important to me.
I believe Life is an adventure and happiness is a choice. I surround myself with good friends and I treat them well in return and let them know they are valued. I have been told that I am not only sweet, I am also exceedingly loyal. I am interested in meeting a man who is ready for and open to the possibility of a real relationship. I enjoy fitness and the outdoors. Running, hiking, you name it! I think shared interests are great. We can also be different enough to complement each other... Thanks for reading. I look forward to hearing from you. Oh, and I hate mayonnaise, anything with mayonnaise, anything that looks like mayonnaise, spiders, and the last second on the microwave.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I currently work for the government during the day, and enjoy spending time with friends after work and on weekends. I also volunteer with the church when I have the opportunity. I love going to Auburn football and basketball games, and/or other sporting events. I especially love any chance that I have to go to see live music whenever possible.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I would say I am a really good cook, cakes are my specialty. I come from a long line of cooks, and it is just in my genes. One thing I pride myself on would be that I can always find a way to give a genuine, heartfelt compliment. Everyone has something good about them.

I love just about every kind of music, every kind except techno. Right now some of my favorites are The Lumineers, The Black Keys, and The Naked and Famous. My all time favorites include James Taylor, Matchbox Twenty, The Beatles, Ray Lamontagne, Ingrid Michaelson, Old Crow Medicine Show, Joshua Radin… I could go on and on!
Some of my favorite movies are When Harry Met Sally, You've Got Mail, Pretty Woman, Dirty Dancing, American Beauty, 500 Days of Summer, Wedding Crashers, To Kill a Mockingbird, Bridget Jones’s Diary, A Few Good Men, there are too many to list!
I do not have cable, but I still find ways to watch my favorite shows. I love How I Met Your Mother, The Big Bang Theory, Rizzoli and Isles, Criminal Minds, Mad Men, Law and Order: SVU, The Walking Dead, Dexter, and College GameDay.
As far as food goes, I can find something to eat just about anywhere. I love good old chicken and dressing made from scratch, but I also love Mexican, Italian, and Asian cuisine.
As a librarian, I saved the best for last. I loved David: 90 Days with a Heart Like His, The Millennium Trilogy, anything by Karin Slaughter, Shutter Island, The Snowman, Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone; picking favorites are like picking a favorite child.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Six things I could not live without are:
My relationship with God, family, friends, phone, books, and Auburn football.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
I think a lot about Auburn football. Some people say football is only in the fall. I say it is year round. There is spring football, all summer to talk about the fall season, football season, and then recruiting and signing day. It’s never ending, and I love it.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
On a typical Friday night, I am with family or friends. This might be a night in drinking wine watching chick flicks, or going out to a local bar or to dinner. I also love Friday nights where I spend a little time watching a movie or reading a book.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
The private thing I am willing to admit is that I am afraid of ghosts. Whew. I don’t even want to say it and put it out there.
