My name is David and I was born in the US. I guess they call me a "Viet Khieu" over here. I'm an English teacher (like a lot of foreigners are). I speak a enough of Vietnamese for us to communicate, but I can't write or read Vietnamese.

Don't be afraid to write. I'm looking for new friends here in Vietnam. Don't be shy because you're English isn't good, I speak enough Vietnamese that we can communicate but I just won't be able to write. Hope to hear from you.

Teaching writing and English. I worked for a number of high schools. I also worked with non-profit groups helping writers with their craft in workshops and helping them prepare for staged readings. I also volunteer to help at libraries and orphanages.
