My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Cute, athletic, intelligent, with a big heart looking for same.

Likes: politics, sports, monkeys, my dogs, politeness, intelligence, documentaries, good grammar, those who can hold their own in a political/philosophical debate, newspapers and occasionally, a highly caloric dessert. Dislikes - um, just the opposite of the above. Oh and people that flash the peace sign in photos.

I value being compassionate to others, including animals. I am a strong advocate (but not a nut) for being kind to animals (i.e. petitioning for significantly better treatment of factory farm animals). I don't eat beef or pork, rarely chicken, sometimes fish/seafood, but what you eat is up to you, of course.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Aside from my day job working for the government - lots of cool stuff. You'll just have to ask!
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Being smart and witty. Honourable mentions go to my grammar skills, ability to juggle (literally and figuratively), dissecting Canadian and US politics, knowing what's going on in the world, and various athletic endeavours.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Well I apparently look quite young for my age, and I seem to have some sort of Benjamin Button thing going on where I look younger as the years go on. I'd like to think that has something to do with eating well and being really active, but maybe my friends just look disproportionately old.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

I could spend an hour on this one - lets go with a few highlights: fiction by Martin Amis, Kurt Vonnegut, Jane Austen, Fitzgerald and Hemingway, all music by the Pixies, Jay-Z, Public Enemy, political non-fiction, Guy Ritchie films, documentaries, CBC radio, Mad Men, Breaking Bad, Arrested Development, Homeland, the Wire, Modern Family, The Daily Show...
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Just need my iPhone. With it I'm sure I could hook up food, shoes, pants, electricity etc. Oh and I need my dogs (Ernie and Tucker). They're great little fellas.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Politics, social justice, the state of humankind, nuclear physics (seriously), animal welfare, factory farming, the idea of learning to play a musical instrument, what my dogs are thinking...
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I like Coldplay - deal with it.

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You're smart, sexy, witty, compassionate, believe in treating people (yes, even strangers) with respect and kindness, lean left or center-left on the political spectrum, and know what's going on in the world around you.

Or if you can bench press like 300 pounds - because that would be really impressive.

Oh - please know the difference between there, they're and their. And it's and its.
