My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
A lot of people say they're up for anything. I try to actually mean it. Life is all about the experiences you have and the people you meet while experiencing those things; whether those adventures and relationships are short-lived or last a life-time, it doesn't matter, as long as the memory is cherished.

I grew up in the bay area. After living in Europe and 3 other states for several years, I moved back to be closer to my family for a while. It's been nearly 5 years now, so I've spent a good deal of time lately wondering if it's time to move along again. But in the meantime, I work, I play, I try to volunteer from time to time, and I do what I can to enjoy all of it.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Live it? Share it? Make it great? Maybe the most accurate answer is I'm trying to figure out what the next chapter will be about
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Listening. Making fun. Saying yes. Putting the needs of others (specifically anyone I love) in front of my own.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Great question. The first thing people usually acknowledge about me is my beard
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Oh, favorites. What a strange question. Isn't the point of life to change and adapt? So your favorites would have to change and adapt too, no?

But to play along...for now, I'm rocking Weeds and House of Cards. Not a huge movie buff, but anything with a good story. I can take or leave action movies, but I usually leave them. Music is broad and eclectic. And food is mostly the same; I'll try anything once, and I rarely find something I wouldn't try again.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My motorcycle - "could never do without" might be a stretch, but I sure do love my motorcycle. I sold my last one and within a year got the itch again

A beard trimmer - gotta keep that facial hair under control

My dog - she's a pain in the butt sometimes, but we have a tight bond and I could never leave her behind.

Friends - some call it needy, but I prefer having people around. Alone time is fine, but being around people is so much more fun

The great outdoors.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
I'm going to leave this one blank. It's a good question to ask on a first date....
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Friday nights are usually relaxation nights. Sometimes I'll go out to a show or hang out with friends, but I like to pepper my week with activities and events, so Friday is for resting and preparing for the weekend
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Try me...I'm not a very private person
