I find it amusing that I am brave enough to travel to a foreign country by myself, but the thought of online dating is truly frightening. I'm trying to view this as a new adventure and have fun with it.

I love to learn about new things - the subject matters are vast and varied but History & Science top the list. I can get lost in a reference book or a History Channel special.

I have recently, begrudgingly, started to exercise regularly. I'm not at the point where I enjoy it yet, but I'm starting to see & feel the benefits.

I enjoy any type of artistic endeavor - I'm a subscriber to the Great Lakes Theatre Festival. Contrasting that, I am an avid baseball fan and go to games often. I’ll watch all kinds of movies both in the theatre and at home - Isn't Netflix great?

I love animals and can't imagine my house without them. I have two cats that aren't going anywhere so a fondness (or tolerance) of cats is important.

More than anything, an open mind is crucial! I am seeking someone with a variety of interests that don't need to mirror my own.
