I like to think for myself.

I think I'm smart. My degree is from UNLV, though, so maybe not so much.

I'm a vegetarian. I like to eat out if I have good company, but I'm trying to learn to cook.

I'm trying to make it weekly to Mt. Charleston or Red Rock for hiking and just to get out of the city for a bit; I'd like to have some good company for those trips, too.

Sometimes I bring a bag with me when I go hiking and pick up other people's litter. Just because I clean up behind you, though, doesn't make it okay for you to do it.

I love music and movies, and have great taste in both.

I love dogs but have cats.

I'm 30 but look 25.

I'm a complex person but try to live my life simply. I try to make good decisions in everything I do. I don't always succeed but hopefully I do most of the time.

I love to travel but haven't been anywhere farther than Northern California since 2007. That's okay, though; there are a lot of interesting places and people between here and there.

I'm spiritual but not not religious. I'm also very open-minded, loyal, and honest.

Enjoying it as it comes, and then back to school next year, most likely. Work and play and travel until then.

Books - I don't read a whole lot of authors consistently. Cormac McCarthy, James Ellroy, a lot of non-fiction

Movies - Amadeus, Y Tu Mama Tambien, Fight Club, Munich, The Departed, Sideways, Trainspotting, Hero, Legends of the Fall, etc.

Music - Pink Floyd, Alice in Chains, Opeth, Dax Riggs, Tool, Riverside, The Mars Volta, A Perfect Circle, Mad Season, Agents of Oblivion, Acid Bath, Deadboy & the Elephantmen, Bob Marley, The Roots, Isis, Pelican, Dead Can Dance, Soulsavers, Jeff Buckley, Led Zeppelin, and on and on

Food - Thai, Mexican, Chinese, Greek, Indian, etc. I am a vegetarian, though.

Music, cheese, the internet, intelligent conversation, my best friends. Not necessarily in that order.
