My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Hi! I'm Ben! I'm your typical 20-something guy, trying to figure everything out and looking for some company along the way. I'm quiet when you first get to know me, but once we're friends I don't shut up.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I am working as a business analyst at a dental insurance company. Super exciting, I know. When I'm not working, I'm usually talking to friends, gaming, spending time with family, or just listening to music and taking it easy in general.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Scrabble, Hearthstone, standardized tests, writing, programming, writing programs, being a friend to others.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Most likely my sense of humor, if not that then definitely my dashing good looks. Let's just go with that one.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: Getting into the Game of Thrones series.
Movies: Lord of the Rings Trilogy and the Hobbit.
Shows: The Office, Parks and Recreation, Adventure Time. Game of Thrones.
Music: The short answer is: Whatever I think is sweet. I guess I'll throw a few on here just to give you an idea: Linkin Park, Nightwish, Lindsey Stirling, Of Monsters and Men, Pentatonix, Clean Bandit, Imagine Dragons, Simon and Garfunkel, Beatles. Tons of others really.
Food: Anything. Some of my favorites are Italian, Japanese, Mexican, and there will always be a place in my heart for crappy Chinese.
Games: Scrabble (duh!) Magic and Hearthstone are the ones I take (semi) seriously, but I can also enjoy plenty of other card, board and video games. If you can teach me how to not get last place in the DC deckbuilding game every single time, please let me know.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. Friends and Family. I'm an introvert but the people I care about are the most important part of my life. It's not close.
2. The Internet, without it I wouldn't be talking to you. <3
3. Games: Whether they be of the board, video, or card variety, they serve as an excellent distraction from the real world.
4. Laughter. No explanation needed.
5. My GPS, It recently ran out of battery when I wanted to go home... I spent 20 minutes trying to find the highway... And then another 15 going the wrong direction on said highway -.-
6. Music. Again, no explanation needed.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Strategy, Game Theory, Whether I will find true love, My future, Games, Etc.
My job, my future, and planning fun activities in the interim to keep myself happy.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Playing games, hanging out with friends, grabbing a few drinks, or taking it easy at home. I'm cool with most things really.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Nothing really comes to mind. I'm not good at hiding things anyways so these sorts of things will reveal themselves in time anyways.
