My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
The succinct version:

I'm educated, athletic, ambitious, and looking for the same. While I am driven, I also love to have fun as much as possible and don't take myself to seriously.

I enjoy working out, learning, movies, comedy clubs, watching and playing sports, golf, pool, cooking, trying new restaurants and bars, and spending time with family and friends.

What I’m looking for:
Someone who is down-to-earth and looking for a serious relationship. I like a girl who is educated, has a great sense of humor, has a career established, is responsible, and ambitious (this doesn't exactly mean someone looking to be the next Hillary Clinton, but rather someone who wants to better their economic standing in life). Also, I would like to be with someone who likes to try new things whenever possible. In my ideal relationship each person is an equal, we are best friends, and want to make the best life for each other. I think communication is key and I prefer to be open and very direct at all times.

On a lighter note, after going on "a few" dates I've learned that many people can look like a match made in heaven on paper. However, it really is all about having chemistry when you meet in person... and I'm not talking about a class you failed in high school. Further, I think a lot of people overemphasize having similar interests. I think having personalities that mesh is more important, but that's just me. Bottom line, there's either a connection or there isn't. So, just because we both like Seinfeld and The Wu Tang Clan doesn't necessarily mean we'll be growing old together.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I work downtown in financial services and am currently working on completing the CFA.

Also, I just took my first big international trip to China and loved every smoggy minute of it. I'm really looking forward to my next one.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Winning hearts and minds, making people laugh, pool, problem solving, navigating, parallel parking, Monopoly, one-liners, cooking, listening, and just about anything else I put my mind to.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My sense of humor. And no I'm not the guys who thinks he's really funny, but everyone secretly thinks he's a jackass.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Reading: Da Vinci Code, Angels and Demons, Outliers, Rich Dad Poor Dad, The Millionaire Next Door, WSJ. I genuinely enjoy learning and usually prefer non-fiction. Unfortunately though I don't get to read much outside of material for work.

Movies: I'm a big movie buff and I like most genres with the exception of horror (they're scary) and romantic comedies.

I’m also a big fan of stand up comedy particularly the HBO specials and the Comedy Central roasts.

TV Shows: I don't watch much TV day-to-day but when I do it's either CNBC, Family Guy, Seinfeld, The Simpsons, Two and a Half Men, or the The Big Bang Theory.

Music: Just about anything besides most rap and country. I mainly listen to classic rock and love everything from Motown to Metallica.

Food: I love to eat and there is not much I don't like. The only thing I won't eat again is Indian food. I like spicy food but now my mouth starts to burn when I look at India on a map. However, some of my favorites are Italian, sushi, Chinese, Mexican.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. Humor/Comedy
2. Friends
3. Working Out
4. Good food and coffee!
5. Olive oil
6. Air conditioning
7. Excel

I listed seven instead of six. Sorry, but it's the bad boy side of me.

Things I could do without:
Snow, the DMV, and the phrase "zombie apocalypse"
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
If I should make a career change, why people are so resistant to talking on the phone, my next meal, and the next property I'd like to buy.

What the ratings would be if Bruce/Caitlyn Jenner was the new Bachelorette. I wonder if they would beat the Super Bowl?
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Doing whatever I am in the mood for. This can include going out with friends for some adult beverages, staying in and watching a movie, working, working out, counting my money, brushing my hair, ect...
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I once had the theme from The Godfather as my ringtone. It was quite a conversation starter.

You have a good sense of humor, are intelligent, ambitious, lead a HEALTHY lifestyle, and are serious about a relationship. If you want to know more just ask...rumor has it that there are no awkward moments the internet. Also, since living in the burbs appears to be equivalent to living in Siberia for those who live downtown, let me say that if you live within an hour of me I'm willing to make an effort.
