My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
The succinct version:

I am accomplished, athletic, ambitious, and looking for the same. While I am driven, I also love to have fun as much as possible and don't take myself to seriously.

My interests include, but are not limited to, working out, movies, comedy clubs, watching and playing sports, pool, cooking, trying new restaurants and bars, and spending time with family and friends.

What I’m looking for:
Someone who is down-to-earth and looking for a serious relationship. I like a girl who is educated, has a great sense of humor, is career oriented, and doesn't take herself too seriously. Also, I would like to be with someone who likes to try new things whenever possible. Ideally, I'd want a relationship where each person is an equal and we are best friends. Communication is key and I prefer to be open and honest at all times.

What I’m not looking for:
Someone who is still in college/party mode or someone who doesn't have their life together.

On a lighter note, after going on "a few" dates I've learned that many people can look like a match made in heaven on paper. However, it really is all about having a connection when you meet in person. Further, I think a lot of people overemphasize having similar interests, when in fact I believe having personalities that mesh is more important. There is either a connection or there isn't. So, just because we both like Seinfeld and The Wu Tang Clan doesn't necessarily mean we'll be growing old together.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I work downtown in financial services and am currently working on completing the CFA. In the future I'm toying with the idea of pursuing another master's degree (probably an MBA) or maybe a Ph. D.

Also, I just took my first big international trip to China and loved every smoggy minute of it. I'm really looking forward to my next one.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Winning hearts and minds, making people laugh, pool, problem solving, navigating, parallel parking, Monopoly, one-liners, cooking, listening, and just about anything else I put my mind to.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My sense of humor. And no I'm not the guys who thinks he's really funny, but everyone secretly thinks he's a jackass.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: Da Vinci Code, Angels and Demons, Outliers, Rich Dad Poor Dad, Michael Crichton's books, and The Millionaire Next Door. I also love to read the Wall Street Journal. Since I genuinely love to learn and am interested in many things, I prefer non-fiction over fiction.

Movies: I'm a big movie buff and I like most genres with the exception of horror (they're scary) and romantics comedies. I'm pretty open minded and have a wide range of favorites from The Godfather, to Annie Hall, to Borat. When it comes to comedies I prefer the witty/intelligent comedies such as Thank You For Smoking, but also like Wedding Crashers, Old School, ect. Also, I love 80's movies (and movies set in the 80's such as American Psycho), Mob movies, action movies, and James Bond films.

I’m also a big fan of stand up comedy particularly the HBO specials.

TV Shows: I don't watch much TV day-to-day but when I do it's either CNBC, Family Guy, Seinfeld, The Simpsons, Two and a Half Men, or the The Big Bang Theory. I'm also a big fan of The Sopranos, Entourage, Mad Men, Carnivale, and The X-Files. One of these days I'll get my act together and start Breaking Bad and Dexter.

Music: Just about anything besides most rap and country. I mainly listen to classic rock and love everything from 80's and 90's to Elvis, Motown, Sinatra, Metallica, Elton John, and Oldies.

Food: I love to eat and there is not much I don't like. The only thing I won't eat again is Indian food. I like spicy food but now my mouth starts to burn when I look at India on a map. However, some of my favorites are Italian, sushi, Chinese, Mexican.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. Humor/Comedy
2. Friends
3. Working Out
4. Good food and coffee!
5. Olive oil
6. Air conditioning
7. Excel

I listed seven instead of six. Sorry, but it's the bad boy side of me.

Somethings I could do without:
Snow and the DMV
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
My next meal, my future, the economy, life in general, and sometimes the little things; like why I like Chipotle a lot more than Qudoba, how this stupid mustache craze started, and why a pound sign is now called a hashtag. Also, I think about the goals I have set for myself (i.e. financially, fitness) and what steps I need to take in order to achieve them.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Doing whatever I am in the mood for. This can include going out with friends for some adult beverages, staying in with friends and watching a movie, working, working out, counting my money, brushing my hair, ect...
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I once had the theme from The Godfather as my ringtone. It was quite a conversation starter.

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You have a good sense of humor, are intelligent, ambitious, lead a HEALTHY lifestyle, and are serious about a relationship. If you want to know more just ask...rumor has it that there are no awkward moments the internet. Also, since living in the burbs appears to be equivalent to living in Siberia for those who live downtown, let me say that if you live within an hour of me I'm willing to make an effort.
