My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Hello, net really sure what to write so I'll tell you a little about myself. I would consider myself a caring person who enjoys spending time with friends. I like to find new things to do in the bay area. I've lived here my whole life and I'm still finding new and interesting things to see and do. I feel at ease at a dive bar just as much as when I'm going to the symphony.

My favorite things to do are watch live music, check out stand-up comedy, find a good cafe and read books, a good film (or movie, depends on my mood).

Anyways, there's more to me than just the stuff above, but I really don't want to write and entire essay and bore people to death. I am very much an open book and will answer pretty much anything you might ask.

I am surprising, awesome, and funny
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I am in my first year of a master's program. I hope to get my masters in sociology with a concentration in labor studies/social justice/grassroots movements. After I get my degree I would very much like to work in the non-profit sector or within government. My ultimate goal in life is too have a career where I feel that I am making a positive difference in this world.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Making people laugh at inappropriate moments. I have also been told that I am a good listener and can sometimes throw out some wisdom.

To name but a few

Movies - Big Lewbowski, Rushmore, Juno, Best in Show, Shawshank Redemption. I really enjoy 80's comedies. I just recently watched The Burbs, and it's still funny. Also, I can always watch anything from the 80's with Chevy Chase (When he was funny). I tend to watch more cerebral movies, documentaries, and the odd goofy movie.

Books - Lately I've been trying to read "classic" books (like Ulysses, Great Expectations, Catch 22 etc). I just finished "The Jungle" and so far that's been my favorite. I'm pretty eclectic when it comes to books. Whatever strikes my fancy is what I'll read at that moment. The weirdest book I've read was about water usage in france during the medieval period. It was interesting and highly boring at the same time.

Music - I love all types of music, from rock to classical to hip-hop to folk, I don't believe in limiting myself. lately i've been on a 90's grunge kinda place. And before that was a whole lotta Wilco. I would list off some bands but that list would be long. One of my joys in life is finding new music that elevates my mind or soul the way only music can.

Food - Again, I don't like to limit myself, so I like to try out just about anything, and I love trying new foods

Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.

I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
problems in society and how I would fix them if I had the chance, music, what my next meal should be and if I have to do laundry soon or can I squeeze another few days out of whats left in my closet.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Usually with friends and we hang out at someone's house, occasionally go out and do whatever sounds fun at the moment, sometimes go to a bar or movie. Maybe bowling, take in an art exhibit. Just wander aimlessly through a downtown. People watching can be really fun when your with the right person.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit

I once let people shave my body hair for charity. The Make-a-Wish foundation got $200 bucks, I got a panda shaved into my chest. If you ask I might show you the pictures

Any of this sounds good to you, you're bored, you need me to explain something you read about me, you want to disagree with me about something I wrote, you just need another reason to email someone at three in the morning...
