My self-summary
I'm in the conundrum of being an introvert (INFP, if you're into that sort of thing), living in Seattle. I love Seattle, it's one of my all time favorite cities, but it is also one of the most introverted cities (the infamous "Seattle Freeze" for example.) So how is an introvert to meet new people in a place where it's notoriously difficult to do so? Well, online dating is worth a go. Hey, stop snickering, you're doing it too. ;)

About me, I enjoy outdoorsy stuff when weather permits, and well, indoorsy stuff when it doesn't (fancy that!). My current hobby/obsession is motorcycles. When it's good weather, I have hopes of going on trips into the backroads and forest service roads of the PNW, and camping out/disappearing for a weekend (or more). When it's not so good weather, well, I think about how nice it'll be when the weather turns, and/or do some tinkering out in the garage.

Outside of the world of motorcycles, I spend a lot of time reading, watching movies, and recently, have been trying to get better at cooking. I also play the occasional video game, but seem to own way more games than I actually get around to playing. I used to really be in to disc golf, but while I still enjoy the game, I've gotten burnt out on the scene that goes along with it. I'm always open to trying new things, even if I'll likely suck at them.

What am I looking for in a woman? Well, a sense of humor is a must, life can be way too long if you take it too seriously and don't know how to laugh. Intelligence, too. I don't know how to have a conversation with someone who doesn't have anything to say, ya know? And yeah, of course there's the whole attraction thing. I'm far more attracted by a woman's personality than her appearance, but still, there needs to be some physical attraction--otherwise we're just friends, right? I definitely dig girls that have an artistic/creative side to them, as well as a little bit of nerdery. Good grammar goes a long way with me too. ;)

All that being said, while I'm posting this on a dating site, I'm not necessarily looking for just dating. Just meeting new friends and activity partners holds a big appeal too. I'm not opposed to finding myself in a relationship, if it comes to that, but it's not my main goal either.
What I’m doing with my life
Figuring it out as I go along.
I’m really good at
Making innocent words sound vulgar. Gorganzola.
The first things people usually notice about me
The mob of bikini clad women that follow me everywhere. Or, if you have poor eyesight, the copious amount of Axe bodyspray I apply on an hourly basis.

That was sarcasm. I don't wear Axe bodydspray (and thus don't have a mob of bikini clad women.) I did hear a funny joke about Axe though: I ran into a guy wearing Axe and I told him, "Hey, you know you can just buy a bottle of vinegar instead? It costs like $5 less, and you'll still smell like a douche." Thanks, I'll be here all week.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
There really isn't any food I'm against, well, except for fast food. And hot dogs. I do love Thai though, as well as quality Mexican food. And does beer count as a food? If not, it should. Whiskey too, because those are a couple of my favorite "foods."

I'm pretty unabashedly nerdy, so you've gotta be OK with that. Star Wars, LOTR, British humour, bad puns...they're all part of the package. Sorry, there just isn't an off switch for that. I consider myself to be fairly well read. I'm not a bibliophile, but I can usually keep up in a conversation with my bookseller friend. I set a challenge for myself to read 50 books this year, and so far I'm ahead of schedule. While I try to read a variety of books, I've found myself reading a lot more fantasy lately. I guess both because it seems to have gotten better in recent years, and also the success of Game of Thrones has made it less of a social pariah. I have roughly one metric shit ton of movies, and haven't come close to seeing them all. And music, well, I've got pretty eclectic tastes there, but pretty much my radio goes back and forth between KEXP and NPR.

Some fun keywords to describe my tastes: Peep Show, QI, Top Gear, George R.R. Martin, Joe Abercrombie, Ian M. Banks, Radiohead, Man Man, Aesop Rock, Archer, Workaholics, Takashi Miike, Firefly, Arrested Development, Long Way Round, Nick Cave, bluegrass, Miyazaki, Archer, Adventure Time, Coen Bros., Alan Moore, Neil deGrasse Tyson, Prof. Brian Cox, etc.
The six things I could never do without
My MP3 player - Music and audiobooks FTW

Wikipedia - I hate to list an internet thing as a "must have," but I love to find the answers to all those questions that float through my head.

A working vehicle - I love to be able to get up and go at any given time. Being stuck in the city for too long can make me feel claustrophobic.

My sense of humor - It's part of me, so inseparable in that respect. And goddamn, there are times in life when all you can do is laugh it off.

A good book - In the absence of good weather, a book is the next best escape.

My hands - You never know when they might come in...er...handy.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
How I ended up on whatever Wikipedia page I find I'm on.

Why it is when I do laundry, I end up with less socks than I started with, but more fabric softener sheets.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Washing dishes often makes me wet.
